- The things i liked would include the academics and the faculty as they were quite helpful and had a thorough knowledge of the fields.
Dislikes
- The things i disliked were the fests and the college events as they were often poorly organized and not much fun.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum was outdated i would say but it was still beginner friendly. It does not prepare you much for real world applications. It could be more latest and there is scope for more practical subjects that would be useful after college. The exams were held at regular intervals and were of normal difficulty.
Likes
- The faculty was quite educated and their knowledge really helped us expand our horizons well
- The available facilities around the campus area since it is located in a very calm and posh colony area .
Course Curriculum Overview:
I pursued a bachelor's of arts hons. In applied psychology. The name itself shows that it is an applied science field and must contain field visits and hands-on experience for more applied knowledge and experience but there was nothing done of sorts to expand our knowledge base about practical application of principles. But apart from this, the theoretical knowledge was vast which gave us enough knowledge about the theories and stuff.
Likes
- The societies in Delhi University are very active which gives a student a firsthand experience to deal with variety of demands and prerequsites.
- Curriculum is one of the best at Delhi University. If you remain sincere enough in all the semesters you may well learn a great deal of things.
Dislikes
- South campus and off campus colleges do not provide hostel facilities which might make living in Delhi a bit expensive.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course for no doubt one of the best as offered by any other univeristies. Delhi univeristy has one of the best comprehensive, effective course system and tailored to current needs and nature of the employment structures.
Likes
- During my first and second years, the professors were really good and supportive. They were well-informed and knew how to impart education effectively. Additionally, they provided us with appropriate materials for our semester exams.
- Being a girl's college crowd was really nice and safe, there are many events organised my students from different courses and many societies one can enroll in
Dislikes
- Even though infrastructure is nice but washrooms are really bad and not cleaned properly. Insipte of many complaints from students no step was taken during my three years to keep the washrooms clean
- During my third year many professors left and the professors joined weren't that good. Their teaching style was very different from what delhi university exams want
Course Curriculum Overview:
Teaching method was fully theoretical and no practical knowledge and experience were imparted. Curriculum is well structured. Exams happens semester wise that is two exams in one year period. Duration is for 3 hours, 4 questions for 15 marks 2 questions for 7.5 each.
Likes
- Infrastructure is great, the buildings have good seating and the walls are painted regularly. The wall putty isn't coming off and there are projectors in some classes.
- We have a hell lotta societies for every kind of passion and also some compulsory societies so society life is good imo.
Dislikes
- There's only one water cooler with cold water outside the buildings in one far corner, the rest drinking water places are not very good and neither offer cold water.
- The GE teacher wouldn't take more than half the classes and then proceeded to call us a day before our exam to finish the syllabus. (English ge)
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is pretty extensive. NEP doesn't help with the fact that we have to cover so much along with other unnecessary subjects like vac and aec. Our classes start at 8:30 and end at 4 everyday.... sometimes 5 so it is definitely a hustle. The curriculum does it well to prepare you for real life but you HAVE TO have done internships because they'll make your life 1000% easier.
Likes
- The crowd comes froma diverse background which makes it a really good experience to attend college as you are interacting with a good amount of people on a daily basis.
- There is no issue of attendance in the college which makes it easier for students to also take part in extra curriculum activities outside of college as well.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of my college needs improvement. There are ceilings which leak during rainy season and floors are open, making the sewer visible in some classes.
- Although my college as a new building which has been fully constructed since the past 2 years but it is still not in use. The correct reasons for the same are not told to the students also students are always given hope that it will open soon.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is well designed and covers the theory and practical aspect of the course evenly. The practical that we do in our courses helps us have a better understanding about the subject. Although because of NEP there have been quite alot of changes but those changes have been made with keeping the students in mind.

- The curriculum and the syllabus. It caters to all the needs and basically if you study for all semesters you will crack any entrance
- The way practicals are conducted and explained
Dislikes
- There should be more psychology related Internships provideby the college
Course Curriculum Overview:
So talking about the curriculum being from the locf batch I'm pretty satisfied with the subjects and papers in included as they resonated very well with the syllabus for the entrance of your masters. Talking about the practical exposure you have to take that for yourself by internships in hospitals or anywhere else as it is not provided by the college. There are six sem in 3 yrs and internals are held 1 month prior to the main exams which helps us prepare. Along with vivas for practical

- The administration oftentimes works in a very unorganised manner
- Less internship opportunities and very less professors in the psychology department
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I am currently pursuing is psychology major , which is super interesting as a subject and I am very keen in learning the complexities of human mind. The curriculum prepares us very well giving real world therapy examples in classroom making learning easier. The exams frequency is twice a year (each semester)

- The first thing which I really like about my college is that it's a girls college and I always wanted to be in a girls college because living in delhi I wanted to feel safe atleast somewhere that being my college I love it.
- Our college has the biggest 3 floor Library and the biggest auditorium of delhi university. Performing on the stage of sadbhavna bhawan makes me feel so joyous.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure, omg it needs to improved a lot compared to other girls colleges our college isn't that of a beauty to stare and look at.
- Canteen facilities, overpriced and does not taste good at all

- nature.. I love exploring nature there, the infrastructure is good as well..
Dislikes
- The way teachers are not at all serious regarding studies.. in weekend batches they don’t teach at all I have to study all on my own

Psychology honours program offers a deeper understanding of the field compared to regular degree.. it involved advance work research opportunities and counselling sessions such as clinical psychology and child psychology and cognitive psychology and further researches thesis and assessments can help in valuable experience
