Likes
- Definitely the campus and the hostels too as the hostels are guarded by women guards.
- College teaches us women empowerment and also make sure that we go hand in hand with the co-ed university students.
- Activities and fests of the college are such that we get a lot of learning from it apart from impartial education.
Dislikes
- Hostel food is something which is not that great and plus we can't step out of hostel rooms after 9 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always was let's say wanted to do any engineering that gives some meaning. So Mechanical and automation I felt the best choice for me and my college is probably the best in this space. It is largely because of the great curriculum that we have.
Placement Experience
We have to understand and go for training as per the direction of our enhanced cell guidance. Companies take a lot of things into account apart from scores and this is where it becomes inevitable for us to go for it. Top level companies are the ones that gets along and gives nearly 90% of the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
IGDTUW is a great university which is under state government and therefore the fees is also less than what it's peers such as NSUT, IIIT Delhi or DTU charge for the same. Here, it is just 147k a year where other charges almost double of it.
Campus Life
Tarangana is our annual fest and it happens during first week of the March. Sports facilities are good but it is mostly occupied by Ambedkar University boys and therefore we don't get much opportunity to play. Indoor stadiums though are good and they are for us entirely. Even clubs and all are quite good and we even have a hostel committee too.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel feel is more than of college fees but in Delhi and for kind of security we have the fees is reasonable. Our three seater rooms are spacious for three students but we don't have washrooms in the room. In each floor there are 6 washrooms and nearly 24 students stay in each floor. Mess is well equipped as it is air-conditioned too.
Admission
Admission is through a tough counselling and literally one just have some time to think and decide as one chance gone means it's gone. Cut-offs are different every year and one can't predict so all one can do is score their best and try to get the top colleges through entrance and ours is indeed one of the best.
Faculty
Faculties are amazing or should I say quite amazing. Exams happen as per direction from the University. So, our faculties gives us freedom of speech and expressions too. Nearly all students pass as our faculties are quite kind when it comes to providing good numbers to the students. Our course curriculum though is tough and one has to study almost daily.
Night Life
Kashmiri Gate bus stand and metro station are at a walkable distance from our college. Hostel timings are that we have to be in the campus at 8.30 as mess gets closed by 9 pm. Many street hawkers and vendors at a very reasonable prices are available close to our campus.
