Remarks

There are lot of positives to this university biggest if which is the amazing infrastructure. It's also recognised by govt of karnataka, naac and UGC which governs private universities in India. The only Negative is that the campus is far from city side.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Continuous evaluation criteria is followed. There are 2 tests of 40 marks each and end term exam of 80 marks every sem. An aggregate of 24 /80 should be scored in order to be eligible for end term exam. And 24 is the passing mark out of 80 in end term.

Internships Opportunities

There are 2 internship cycles in the form of professional practice allotted to the students at the end of 2nd and 4th year depending on the cgpa. The allotment process is almost like entrance exams where there is a choice entry and allotment stage.

Placement Experience

4

There are more than 150 companies visiting the campus for placements. Many students gets placed for good packages. More and more companies are added to this list every year since this is an emerging university.

College Events

4

Number of activities are conducted throughout the year. Meraki is the cultural fest of presidency which is celebrated grantly inviting number of participants from colleges around Bangalore. There's also EQUIP which is the technical fest, then there is ethnic day, convocation, intracollege fests, cultural competitions etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is 78500 for cet students out of which 56000 is the fee for private universities specified by KEA. For management seat it goes over 1.2 lakhs depending on the course. Fee structure doesn't fee that expensive due to the facilities they're providing.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships offered by the University for different communities which can be availed every academic year through a not-so-tedious process. These scholarships can be either transferred to account or reduced from fees.

Campus Life

5

Labs are highly equipped and furnished with all the requirements. There are also dedicated sports hours where students can make use of the sports room or the ground where all the equipments are available in the college itself.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are about 5 hostels in different locations out of which 2 are close to the university. Transportation charges are included in the annual hostel fee. Hostel infrastructure is average. Food is average not that great.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not yet established as the first batch of students are graduated only this year I.e 2019. I hope it'll be established soon enough since there will be a lot of students passing out every year.

Exam Structure

Continuous evaluation criteria is followed. There are 2 tests of 40 marks each and end term exam of 80 marks every sem. An aggregate of 24 /80 should be scored in order to be eligible for end term exam. And 24 is the passing mark out of 80 in end term.

Admission

I got in through Karnataka - Cet exam. I was allotted here in the second phase of allotment. Joining process is not that complicated rather it is neatly ordered for ease. For students getting in through Kcet fee is very much less compared to management seat.

Faculty

4

Faculties are mostly from IIT. At least 80 % of the faculties are PhD. They are friendly and supportive towards the students. Complete study materials are provided in the form of ppts and pdfs to students. Also students are assigned a faculty advisor who takes care of all the problems( if any) of the students.

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

Placement Experience:

The senario of placement in all of the private colleges of West Bengal are more or less the same. Majority of the students are placed in Service Based Companies like TCS, Wirpo, Infosys, HCL, Accenture, Cognizent, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. These companies offer anywhere from 3.6 to 6 lpa packages. Only a handful of Product based companies come in these private colleges and cherry pick 2-3 student per college only. This is the reality of all the private colleges, not just our college. If you want to crack a high paying job, you will have to do it off campus. The students are eligible for internships from the 6th semester itself. The college does try to provide internship to students but only a few students end up getting the internships and most students need to find internships on their own. Some companies which came in 24-25 session which offered an internship and PPO are Amazon, SAP Labs, Accenture, etc. For a detailed placement stat, go to our college's website and look for training and placement stats. The college is honest in putting these stats. The stats are mostly reliable. The highest off campus placement in 24-25 session was by Snehadeep De, who secured a SDE role in Amazon with 47 lpa CTC. This was off campus so the college had no role to play here. The highest on campus placement was by two students in the company Juspay. They were offered the SDE role for 27 lpa CTC. The average placement of all the CS branches will be around 5-6 lpa. And approximately around 60-65% of the students get placed. This is the ground reality. And its the same in all of the WB private colleges. If you want to keep a backup option in case you don't want to get a 3.6 lpa job then start preparing for GATE, CAT or Civil Services from your second year. Its always preferred to have a backup option cause you can't trust a private college for providing you jobs.

The minimum placement opportunities of our college is good . If you are in good in aptitude, Group discussions and your CV and technical skills are strong then you can easily crack a 7-10lpa job from our college. Overall our college provides decent opportunities for our placements but you need to maintain certain GPA to sit on those placements

After the 6th semester we are eligible for the internship, also we can apply for both on campus and off campus placements. In our college some companies like Geotech, Infosys, Code Clouds, Unibit solutions visit every year. Average package is in the range of 3.5-5 Lakhs per annum and highest package is nearly 6-7Lpa. But post covid time our placement record decreased a bit. Nearly about 80-85% of CSE students get placed every year. Also I am currently appearing in interview of different companies for placement.
