Graphic era deemed University review

I always desired to do b-tech...i choose this clg mainly due to its location...no pollution clean water...in order to avoid health issues and get a healthy life style. As one says health is wealth...Here practical knowledge is more preferred over theoretical knowledge...Exams are conducted on a gap of 1.5-2 months.. practical papers are more difficult than theoretical paper'. The only cons is placement here is not everyones cup of tea.

Internships are provided from 3 sem onwards... mainly students reach out by themselves for a good internship.. ... Students are guided and motivated to make their personal projects and reach out internships... As of now I didn't have much knowledge about the kind of projects and stipend provided in internships

From 5th-6th semester onwards people can apply for campus placements and internships . Companies like Infosys microsoft amazon walmart wipro google and others comes here for placement drive. Highest placement here is 50 lakh and least is 4 lakh. 80% for the students here get placed. My plans are here to get a good package.. i didn't plan anything about doing masters

Yearly fees here is approximately 4 to 5 lakh per year but you can avail the scholarship based on your boards result or your jee result. And for girls there is another 10% scholarship provided by the University. After applying whole scholarship i pay 3 lakh 40 thousand approx. it includes all fees other than hostel fees. Few of my batchmates pay more fees as compared to me due to less scholarship. But this scholarship is valid only for 1 year only. From 2nd year the scholarship is totally based upon your cgpa

Here are two tech clubs IEEE and graphic geeks...both focus on to encourage your tech related knowledge basically practical knowledge... Grafest here is a very popular annual fest conducted. It is popular in whole dehradun. Every year sport tournaments are organised for sports lover . A great badminton player lakshya sen who recently played in olympics is a graduate of this clg..

Hostel facility is excellent here... The meals provided are in mess are hygienic and very tasty... Water is very clean . Hostel fees is 1 lakh 38 thousand including laundry and and food..there are many pg and flats nearby.

I got offers from Manipal, upes, ,vit bhopal and many other . I happen to choose this due to clean environmental in order to avoid health issues... I got rejected from my dream clgs due to low jee percentile. The admission process here is quite easy...it is easily done based on your board results and jee score...The minimum eligibility criteria is to get 60% in your preferred course main subjects..

Here the faculty to student ratio is quite appreciable. There are many faculties in placement department cell who are iit graduates...and a great mentor. I really like my many of the faculties as they actually try their 100 percent to provide every support they can. They always keeps us motivating to do something extra ordinary to think out of the box. As it's my 1st year only so there are not much to say about my dislikes. Till now everything feels good. In a year there are 4 exams conducted...mid sem end sem...again followed by mid sem and end sem....mid sems are quite easy as compared to end sems...and passing theory papers are far more easy then clearing practicals.... here people often gets back in practicals more than theory

Night life here is quite boring... especially for girls...they are not allowed to roam in clg after 9pm . Gym is available for girls. Normal days outing is allowed from 6 to 8 pm and pm Sunday we get 5 hour outing... on holidays 3 hour outing is provided. Mussoorie the queen of hills is 30-40 min aways from here....other than this tere are many temples and hangout places
