Course Curriculum Overview

3

the course curriculum is very poor as nowadays most students have no clue wat to do after the course. the syllabus is purely theoretical and we have very less practical knowledge. More practical classes could improve the understanding of the course.the timin for internal exams are very poor most of the time as they keep 2 exams in 1 day, 1in the morning and 1 in the evening.

Placement Experience

3

from 7th sem we could sit for placements. wipro, etc come for placements. the hightest package is 58lakhs per annum to a it student. perecent of studnets getting placements is very less for our college due to the lack of proper skill. i wish to work for some while and then pursue for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

it is 37500 per sem.But for us cs students we are supposed to pay yearly which is 90k. Extra 15k includes the exam fees and all miscellaneous fees.Caution deposit is 10k.I got admission under the cawig category so i had to pay extra 3lakhs in donation.

Campus Life

5

azure is the main festival in this college. it is a yearly festival happening usually in the march april season.then we have our sports and competitions. we have a good and big library. we have a smart tv now in each classrooms which has a touch sensor for teachers to make it easier to handle. sports day include most of the sports in a usual competition.

Hostel Facilities

3

hostel is fine but kinda strict comparetively. we have to take outpass to go out and message is gone to parents wen we step out of hostel amd get in. mess food is horrible at time and manageable at time. basic homely only we get here. directly we have to contact in order to register for hostel. for pg we have places like koovapally or 24th mile.

Admission

I couldnt get any other college with the marks i had at that time so my only option was this. At the beginning i really thought i couldn't do this. but then it eased up and i became better. here basically all i needed was the decent keam marks and good overall marks to get in plus the 3lakhs donation. i did apply to saint gits kottayam but didnt get there.

Faculty

4

The faculties are actually good. the only problem comes when there is no time to finish the syllabus. all the teachers rushes the topics so fast that class gets very boring. I like my class teacher, her name is tintu miss. theres no one that i dislike. everyone is good only there are 2 internal exams and 1 main semester exam at the end of the sem. we have 1 internal lab exam and main external lab exam. atleast 5 manage to fail every sem

Night Life

4

as our college is surrounded by trees all over...the night life is kinda poor as the college is situated in a more rural area comparatively. we have a newly imrpoved gym now with a fee of 1050 per sem. cafeteria is good and big but heavy traffic most of the time. hostel time limit is 6.45pm we have faaz hotel as the main mandhi shop.

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
