PEC life in a nutshell

I am in first year and first year is same for all branches, so I don't know a lot about electrical engineering specifically. But of what I have heard from seniors, electrical branch is more difficult, and in pec u get not that many core companies. While u get a lot of finance, IT, coding etc companies.

Clg fees including hostel is approx 12 lakhs for 4 years, u can easily get full details on pec website. Per year approx 3 lakhs padega. Hostel is approx 75k per year I guess and mess is 3500 per month.

PEC is huge and there are so many fun events that I can't even explain. It so so much fun to experience all this with your friends. There are a lot of other events too which are organized very regularly, moreover a lot of clubs are very active and they do keep conducting their various events. Library has decent number of books, although most people just go there to relax or study in peace. Almost all main sports are offered while most people don't get time to participate due to such a happening clg life.

Its just about your jee rank while deciding where to get admission in. I got 32k rank in mains and it was the best option for me to get a circuital branch. I would have preferred dtu if I could get it but I couldn't get even EP in dtu even in spot round. Admission process is simple and u will get it on pec website after josaa allotment. U will get all details either on website or on mail, and u can call their helpline, they do answer

Most faculties are great. I being in first year don't know much about upcoming faculties but till now almost every faculty is great and they don't bother much. Teaching wise most are good if u have a study intent.

No nightlife for real, no night canteens or roaming allowed officially. But I never felt the need. Like u r in Chandigarh, u can do nightouts easily and u can enter or exit hostel anytime by climbing the hostel wall which is well known by guards too but they hardly care about that. For girls its strict, no outing after 9pm.
