Likes

I love the nature in the college. it's full of trees
I love the architecture too .it gives quite an old feeling
I love the classrooms too which are quite good

Dislikes

I didn't like the Hostels very much..They should be more clean
The mess food is good but it's kinda expensive
The washrooms in the hostel too are not good

Course Curriculum Overview

The courage curriculum is quite good sometimes it feels a bit heavy in terms of portion when compared it to the syallabus that we are having in few subjects and the labs shouldn be properly equipped as well

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees that we have in our college is so for first semester we have to pay 1,20,000 which includes tution fee, the starting funds and all and from the next semester onwards there is a few of 93000 which might increase or decrease by 10 per cent for the next semesters and also Every batch has the same fees in Engineering and For PhD it is comparatively low. The scholarships are available as well but not quite as much

Campus Life

The college's good and it could have been bigger but yea it's good and yea it's quite clean as well. There are many bins and the college is very clean too with many lust trees which brings shadow too the college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilitys are not as good as i thought they would be..The rooms aren't clean the ground isn't clean as well and the washrooms too ..Warm water is always not available..There should be more washrooms and then we would be quite happy and the rooms are okaish too ..The mess food is good however and I'm happy about tht .We have non veg as well as veg option's ..

Admission

I applied for many and I'm happy with what I got..The college Pec is quite good. I'm having a good and new experience and it's fun, to be frank. the course is good too and I'm happy about it. You can join this and you will not regret

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is quite good to be frank. There's no issue at all in that matter and I'm quite happy about it. The first semester kinda felt hectic and from then on. It was easy I mean from the second semester onwards

Night Life

Night' life campus is quite good as well. The street light are enough for to walk around. Its peaceful and I'm very happy about it..We can walk around the college during the nights and it's completely safe and it's alright

Other Applied Colleges

Because I felt Pec to be better than it and I am happy with my decision and I have no regrets at all..

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

form 3rd year college placements get started but student can do side internship by themself in 1st and 2nd year offcampus type , there is no restriction from our college . in 2023 atlasian give highest package of 83 lpa . various companies like microsoft , jp morgan , american express come to PEC for hiring .

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

A TRUSTED COLLEGE FOR A SAFE FUTURE

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Collage conduct exams as 4 sections in a year.
