The Institute is Autonomous so curriculum is decided by the institute. The curriculum is very conceptual. The subjects in first year mostly have relative grading (excluding Physics and Chemistry). The classes are held 6 days per week for 1st semester and 5 days per week from 2nd semester onwards. On an average we have 5 hrs of classes per day in 1st year

The campus life is great. We have events like Aarohi , DG(Department Gathering), Institute Gathering etc. Many sports events in Institute Gathering where different branches compete with each other. The campus has a big library and all books related to course can be found there.It is a really big library.

The hostel is located inside the campus itself. The rooms are pretty big and has double sharing for 1st year. Single occupancy rooms are allotted 2nd year onwards. The hostel are divided year wise. The mess food is average.

I chose this college as it was a government institute (institute of national importance) and had great ranking in NIRF.I had also applied in IITs but my rank in jee advance was not sufficient to get me a good branch in the good IIT. The admission is done through JEE Mains score. For Electronic and Communication Engineering branch the cutoff in JEE Mains was 13000 rank for general

Faculty to student ratio is good and the most faculties are good at teaching and address doubts of the students. The faculties are well qualified. All of them have Ph.D in their subjects from renowned institutes such as IIT, IISc etc.

The campus is located in Nagpur which has many hotels and restaurants like haldiram and other local restaurants. The hostel intime for 1st year is 9 pm whereas no intime from second year onwards. There are also dominos,subway and other such restaurant surrounding campus
