Likes

My faculty are too good and explaining all the topic after the class.
My lab equipment are too good and teacher help us for using them.
Sports and events are very good in my college.

Dislikes

Lab equipment are too old and not working properly.
College ground is too small and outdoor facility is not good.
Management is not responsible about the students after the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is too old the books are too old in ore library. The old curriculum is teaching in our college without any update. Our odd semester are taking more time than even semester's. The time distribution is too unordered.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 625000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college doesn't have the facility of internship. The students are grab the internship on their on merit from the off campus events and hackathon. Our college progress on the internship providing is null.

Placement Experience

The student are eligible for the placement from 7th semester. TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Amazon and sometime student are also placed in Google . There are maximum number of offer's from TCS, Accenture, and Wipro

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee of my college=165000 There is a university examination fee = 2700 Al lab and other charges is included in yealy fee. Also my friend who is from West Bengal and comes low income his/her fees =60000

Campus Life

The campus life is average. And having two fest in our college one is prelude for the freshers and other one is our grand college fest mesmeriser. Also two sport's fest but not on high level but called decent fest.

Admission

I applied in 6 college's but i got confirmed admission in only 4 of them. Yes i got the rejection from two college's. The admission process of my college is from wbjee counselling.i am taken admission in information technology branch.

Faculty

The student-faculty ratio is not good.65:1 student faculty radio is available in our college. There are four internal exam taken in one semester examination. Also two practical exam taken before main practical exams.

Night Life

There is one gym in our college also lack of equipment's. Library is decent but or reading room is equipped with computer and ac. Our college doesn't have a hostel. Student are renting the pg and flat.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. Placement is okay

I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
