Likes

Campus Area is very large and exposure is good
Faculty is great and they teach very good
Attendance is 75% compulsory which is good by academic perspective

Dislikes

Gender Ratio is very low.If Class has 120 students only 30 are girls
Assignment Writing is a complete mess.They Never see what is written
Lab Equipments are faulty atleast for 1st yr labs

Course Curriculum Overview

Well It's a autonomous University so curriculum is pretty predictable as it is set by college authorities and specific books are referred so as to get knowledge of a particular knowledge.I think Conventional Topics should be done but along with it new courses which upskills students should be introduced

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The College Fees is roughly 70k per semester.Complete Fee Waiver for SC ST students.Remission of fees for parental income under 5 lakh(50% fee waiver) and under 1 lakh(100% fee waiver).I paid 67.5 k as semester fees and opted for 100% fee waiver

Campus Life

Talking about the fests I have lot to tell.From Aarohi To AXIS Tech fest every type of fest is organised in the college.IG(Institute Gathering) is one of the best event where all departments compete for the Trophy Which contains approximately 120 sports and competitions

Admission

Honestly I didn't opted for this college It was on 10th position in my josaa list.Obviously I wanted NIT Trichy CS. but Now I Realised that The College is much better than my expectations with so much of fun sports and studies

Faculty

The Faculty is very Good at teaching.Many are Graduated from Foreign Universities.They teach conceptually with the help of animations and solid techniques.They also arrange Tutorials Doubt Clearance Session.Overall Positive Feedback

Night Life

Well for 1st year students there exist no nightlife.The intime is 9 pm so yeah if I want to I have to break the rules which I might don't do.More or less it's good environment in hostel though in night some plays volleyball or badminton in the hostel ground some play table tennis in recreation hall so yeah it is good

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Nice curriculum in my cource in first year 6 subject are there which are maths chemistry physical engineering drawing and mining geology classes and approx length of each class is 55 min which is nice

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate.
