very educated professors who are just devoted to make study takes extra classes and are available anytime u ask help just to make your career better .
women college and all of them are very supportive
club and committes works at their best capacities

Dislikes

not a big college ,very minimal space available
sports activities are minimal to nil ,no scope for sports
Not much facilities available ,no lift ,no air conditionors

Course Curriculum Overview

anyone who wants to prepare for civil services can pursue this course as u would getenough amount of time to study and prepare for competitive exams other than that its a wonderful course that change your overall personality but if u want job and all u wont get a directionals job ,vague job profiles u can get ofcourse because placement works best in this college

although placements of our college works at its best capacity and do provides jobs and u can sit for placements in 5th semeter of college but since it is a mosstly humanities college students like to pursue master and since most of the student are very rich and belong to south delhi only they pursue masters abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

college fee is around 24 thousands for 3 years and there is no scholarship available as such ,there is no category discount given to any student but this is because of the fact that this is such low fee actually

Campus Life

there are many fest and cultural programs being organised every now and then i am not able to recall name of every fest ,comapred to north campus u will feel less fest ,library is full of books and u can easily access any book from library ,

Admission

college history made me take addmission in this college, and since it supports women empowerment extensively ,and of the fact that this is located in posh area of college ,and ofcourse the faculty of this college is really good and well known

Faculty

highly educated profeesors with a very good teaching style ,my course is a 3 years one so there are 6 semesters and each includes 5 papers for exams (for 75 marks ) ,other 25 is internal which are on the basis of presentation ,asssignments and projects ,group discussion ,

Night Life

there is nothing called night life for kamla nehru college since it does not have its own hostel and since it priortize women safety much so no student is allowed in college after 8pm onwards and hence no question for night life

DTU is Totally Worth Spending Time At!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements have been good from what I have noticed this year. BBA and BAE students get almost the same packages and same companies hire the students. Average package for BAE students is 5.5 Lakhs and for BBA it's a little high at 6 lakhs or so.

Our college has a very active and effective placement cell. Major companies like Goldman Sachs, Bain among many others come on campus for not just placements but also internships. Average and Median packages are between 8 and 10 lakh per annum, with highest packages going up to 25 lakhs. Tale of a First Year

Placement Experience:

The college Offers campus placements which are mostly in the private sector. Students are eligible for Campus Placements after Completing the 4th semester or we say on completion second year. Many companies are brought on board By the placement cell of the college. In this list also Mkinsey, EY, KPMG, Which are some of the prominent rulers of their industries. The median package offered to UG was 6 lakhs per annum, Top 9 students were offered a median salary of 9,00,000 per annum. Around 490 were placed From campus placements of the college out of 1300 students eligible For the placements, These are only approximate figures and not exact. The highest package offered from the college is around 14,00,000 per annum. Talking about my plans after getting the degree is going for highest studies, Either Masters in economics or MBA in business economics.

KM COLLEGE - FILLED WITH COMPLAINTS ?

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus
