In UPES you can feel the nature in it's beautiful form as it resides in the mountains 18 km from the main city. Wether is awosome and you will going to love it. Transportation is not good you will think 3-4 times before going to the main city if you don't have your own vehicle. Although Upes has taken the initiative by starting the shuttle servuce for the students from campus to the city.

Courses are well good & designed according to the current trend. I think UPES will be in top 10 colleges which has the best course plan in india. There is no doubt that some course plans are even better than most of the IIT's.

Yes. Well currently internships process are going on for 3rd year students. But there is no big issue in getting a internship as there are many companies which comes to the campus such as : Dell, xebia, reliance, jio, IBM, and many other startups.

Well if your pointer is above 8.0 then there will not be any problem for you for getting a job from here. But if it is below then 8 then you will get only a average package of 3-5 lac/annum so there will be no difference between average student & the student who are below average.

Almost every time of tge month some or the other events goes on. As there are various student chapters(like student clubs such as csi) so they organizes various events both technical or fun events. If you are good in drama there are various dram clubs such as paradigm, vultus etc. Biggest & moat energetic fest here is UURJA which helds generally i the month of october. This is the biggest & most entertaining fest of the college.

I will say it depends on various factors. But according to me fee structure is a bit expensive as you will not get the facillities according to the money you have paid. For a rough eatimation your b.tech will cost you around 20 lac which includes both college and hostel expenditure.

Yes college provide scholarship for the student who excell in the field of academics. For getting the scholarship you have to score above around 8.5 cgpa. Well I am not sure about the exact cgpa but what i am sure about this will not be an easy task.

Labs are very good & well equipped. Sports facillities are also not bad. But if you wan't to indulge in any extracurricular activity you have to do on your own. Enviorment here is not like which will attract you automatically to involve in these activity but one has to think to involve in such activities. Although UPES is progressing in this field day by day.

Campus hostels are not bad but they are not capable of holding all the students so more than half of the students reside outside the campus. As a result there is a large bunch of hostels outside the upes from which you can choose yours according to your preference.

Seniors are always helpful as they have more experience than us. If you wan't help from seniors, yoy have to do it own your own or sometimes faculty can connects you with them. But there is no such interaction program by the college itself which will help you to interact with your seniors. Likewise in IIT bombay every student is assigned with the seniors as their mentors from which you can ask everything or take any help which they can provide.

Exam structure is quite good. As the weightage of marks is divided in mid-sem exams, internals, end-term exams as 20,30 and 50% respectively. Some exams are also conducted online throught upes portal.

Well UPES conduct it's own enterance test which contains PCM with current affairs. Well the branch selection is done on the basis of rank scored in that exam. So if you wan't to get in top branches like petroleum or cs it's better you score good in the exam. Also if one is not getting his/her preffered branch then there is an option to put it in waitlist.

This is the field where most of the private colleges lack behind & hence there is no wonder that UPES also. Although they assure that most of the faculties are IIT passouts or phd. Holders but even though only few faculties are there who delivers the subject well. Most of the faculties don't even know about the subject and they just try to get it over with it by passing the slides. So student has to prepare most of the part on his own, so be ready for it.
