Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is also good in Nitc.Students will not face much pressure as far as academics are concerned and students can score good if they manage their academics along with other co curricular activites.

Fee we pay for a single semester is 62.5k tution fees + 25k ( hostel + mess ) fee for a general candidate whose income is more than 500000.But in the first semester you need pay 60000 as hostel fee to the ho

Campus Life

Fests in Nitc are top notch.Apart from festive events we will be celebrating a tech fest named Tathva and a cultural fest named Ragam.I already saw the euphoria of Tathva as of now and I can say it the best fest I have experienced till now.If events are the first choice of the student,then nitc is the best.

Admission

Nitc is in belt of top nits in India and I think it is main reason why I opted Nitc.But my first priority is nit warangal as I am from hyderabad and it is my homestate nit.But nitc is a great option for both academics and student life.

Faculty

Faculty are very good in the college and you will be having all the academic support you need from the faculty.Exams are not so hectic as you will be having only one mid term and an end term exam.Hope this works!!

Night Life

Night life is amazing in Nitc you will be having canteens in the mega hostels open till 1 am.Sports like badminton are also available.But for first year students you will be having a curfew and you need to return the hostel by 9:30pm.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. A student's perspective

Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
