The college overall is good but there is a student council elected by the college authorities and the college must at least implent some of the plans posted by student council.
Entrance Preview
At my time i got through AIEEE and my rank was 7801. but now the entrance is through jee mains and also now weigtage is given for +2 marks. I wanted eee only. I am an un reserved candidate so i got seat in this college only.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good it helps us to gain all the practical and theoretical knowledge of the course undertaken and also the course contents matches with gate syllabus which makes it easy for gate preparation.the various electives areelectrical installation design(covers all electrical installation parts)control system (includes1, 2 and advanced control theory) perfect for robotics knowledgeenergy conservation( give insight about where we can save energy in day to day life)power distribution (general power distrubution and problems faced in india).
Internships Opportunities
There was a training and placement cell which takes care of this. Almost 50+ companies came for internships and more than 100+ students got internships in various places across india and some got selected for abroad also.popular companies include amazon, citi bank, goldman saach.
College Events
There are many techinical and cultural events celebrated in the college technical are axis which is generally known as central india largest technical fest and more than 4000 students from various college participated in axis 2015and cultural event is aarohiin this there are various cultural dances, songs and events and many different college students participate in it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure some what feasible than private colleges. The college fess per year including both semester are 75000 and the hostel fess are 40000 rs so overall the fees for an academic year are 115000rs for poor students there is a loan scheme which they can use if they are unable to pay their fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship for the poor people in form of student aid fund. All the students whose family income is less than 1lpa are eligible for this scholarship in this scheme student gets 1lac per year so that he can pay his hostel and college fees. Also there are alumini scholar ship in which the aluminis of the institue provide scholarship both for merit and poor people.
Campus Life
Campus life at vnit is the best campus life we can see in nits. Gender ratio is at present 60:40. There are regular workshops being conducted on robotics, and culut night every now and then. Students who have a desire in robotics can learn a lot from these programs.

Exam Structure
Exam strucutre is similar to most colleges 2 mid exams and one end sem. Both mid constitute 15 marks and end sem constitute 60 marks. The exams ae a bit tougher and one should work hard to get good grade.lab exams are viva type and there is genarally toug
