Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and framework of the teaching methods are the ones that made me opt this college, as the course faculty and college management think to provide best for the students and they focus on the process and betterment of student instead only result.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are the major thing for studnets to get real job life opportunities and they are being taken care by the college pretty well. Almost every student gets an internship opportunity and provided good stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are pretty decent students get a lot of offers from various large scale companies and in our programme average package is about 21,00,00 which is very good and about eighty five percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Good College and excellent facilities provided for a child with great view of the Kerala's beautiful nature and perfect environment for perfect education.All my JEE prep , hardships,struggles worth it.

Campus Life

In terms of sports and extra curricular activities NIT CALICUT has always given the best for the students .There are many clubs and group's through which we can explore our interests and get interacted with others.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well maintained and provide best facilities for students and food is also pretty decent. Timings are followed for students entry and out going in hostels ,three beds are provided in one room.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I took admission in this college through JEE Main Exam which is conducted every year. After some good score I started looking for colleges and noticed this college as a better one compared to other colleges in terms of avg package,opportunities etc.

Faculty

Faculty members stay close to students by constantly supporting them and make every effort to stay close to all the students in the class they also provide insightful thoughts and ideas and evaluate only on the merit through examination.

Night Life

Nightlife around NIT CALICUT is so peaceful and safe to hangout with friends and mates we have a beautiful environment and surroundings are good for a walk at night. There is a gym for those who are interested.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good, can be better. This year the average is 15L and median is 12L and highest is 50L for ece, the percentage of placed students in ece is also greater than 80%.In the 3rd year students are taken for interships and those may convert to placements and for 4th year students placements will start from the start of their 4th year itself.For ece meesho, dell, texax instuments and many other companies came, meesho paid the highest salary in ece.My plan is to secure a good job in core company.

Nit Calicut - Good Side and Worse Side

Placement Experience:

we get placements mostly in the post 6th sem or in 7th sem. Some major companies like texas instruments offer good packages here. others include meesho, goldmans sachs, dell, bpl. Highest package is around 50lakh for ece students and around 70 lakh for cse. more than 80 percent get placed from cse and ece but is only around 20 percent in branches like production engineering, engineering physics. less core companies than it ones

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
