Course Curriculum Overview

I choose LLB as my carrer option so i Choosed this course at includes politics and basic laws also . The curriculum prepares us fully great and enough to write our own answers easily. the timings of exams is in every 6 months.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 19000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

yearbwise paid 19000> Tution fees is 4500 ,caution fees is 3000 ,and registration fees and other is a sum of 19000 . the B.com fees if around 21000 . My friend yash got sports qouta and for this he only pay half fees .

Campus Life

The Tilok 2024 , and GIDDA nights and fests was the golden events of our college . THere are various type of books and journals available in the library. the facilities and technology is uptodate and well maintained.

Admission

Firsty i applied for the CUET exams and then i applied to DELHI UNIVERSITY that includes around total 90 colleges ,some famous college were HansRAj , Venkateshwar and SGTB etc . yes i got rejections as my bad luck .

Faculty

the faculty-to-student ratio is around 2:3 . the faculty and student relationship is really good beacuse of thier bond . i liked the empires as their behaivour towards students are really geninue and good.

Night Life

The GYM got a personal trainer for the students to assure the proper posture of exercise. The cafeteries and library etc are really good in all circumstances. the colleges got many rooms which are hidden and students loves to go there.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks. In 1st and 2nd round i doesn't get bcom. And in 3rd round i got SSNC with bcom but college disappointe me very much.
