As i have choosen the Bachelor of technology from Information Technology, i'll definitely say the discipline for IT Branch is quite good and you to follow rules that are not much demanding. If i talk about the faculties they are really supportive , undoubtedly they'll support you if you approch to them . The course is relevance with respect to the fees , if i talk about my department it offers many opportunities.

Ofcourse my college offer internships , but as I am in the first year I don't know much about the internships . But I used to hear that my seniors have correct the good internship , But definitely if I get any information about the internships I will make sure to write here to share with you all.

Yes there is campus placement in my college , placements of my college is quite good . Companies visit our college every year and place many students in their companies . I got the data of the campus placement of last 3 years and it says that IT and CSE are the branch which has cracked the most in campus placements. The company offers diffrent packages to different students , the average package of my branch that is information technology is 6.5LPA

We have to pay 85000 At the time of admission which includes the first semester fees too. And then 76000 for the second semester After then 73000 for 3rd semester again 73000 for 4th semester. After then 74000 for 5th semester and 74000 for 6th semester , in the last 75000 for 7th semester and again 75000 for the final i.e. 8th semester. Note that , as per MAKAUT regulation registration fees ?500 one time is to be paid at the time of MAKAUT registration , and student development fees ?2200 one time is to be paid at the time of MAKAUT registration. As per MAKAUT regulation semester examination fees ?1200 per semester is to be paid at the time of examination form fill up. There are some criteria too like TFW which reduces the fees .

Honestly , the Campus life is not as expected . But yeah , here all types of clubs are there which conducts events like sports event, tech events, skill learning opportunities, Robotics Events , cultural event and social event too. Infrastructure is quite good really , there are two grounds in college and 3 buildings in college. There is a good Library , a good auditorium hall .

I gave an entrance examination called WBJEE , in which i got a rank of 10K and got the Branch Information Technology in the college Techno Main Salt Lake . Also the internet say that techno main salt lake is one of the best colleges in Kolkata. If you will work hard there your definitely crack a placement. If i talk about the refrence , one of my relatives' son has done the engineering from this college, so he referred me during counseling that this college is good . If you work little hard you will get good opportunities like placements, internships etc. There are no interviews , just a intrance examination (WBJEE) and then counselling process (choosing college as preferences). I prepared online for this examination. Consider Youtube And other ed-tech platforms as your teacher thats enough. By compare my college on different parameters with the other colleges like IEM that is also nearby my college , the campus life of my college is relatively better than IEM .

Faculties: the faculties are very really supportive if you have any doubt they will definitely clear it if you will approach to them . Course structure :As general , the structure of course has been divided into 4 years , each year consists of 2 semesters . You have to give the examination in each semester. Exam systems: since we are associated with the MAKAUT University , the exam papers are supplied from there . We have to clear every semester exams , if any student got fail in any subject ,then he/she have to give the that particular subject's exam again the corresponding even or odd semester. Marking schemes :The theory Exam paper consists of 70 marks which includes Three sections. The first section has 12 questions in which we have to answer any 10. Which question of section a contains 1 mark. The second section contains 5 questions each of 5 marks in which we have answer any 3. Third section contains 5 questions each of 15 marks will be have to answer any 3. The paper got checked by the teachers manually , and they give you marks step wise.

The college does not offers you nightlife in campus , but if I talk about around the campus the college is situated in one of the most famous place of Kolkata that is Salt Lake , Sector V therefore the roads are busy 24 hours . There are Street foods around the colleges , and also the college is surrounded by corporate companies. Working people are all around the college. Specially in the night , when the street lamps turn on its looks fantastic. The malls are there , the shops are there.. Overall a good night life is around my college
