Likes

Extra curricular activities are always running along with curriculum
Placement percentage is quite good in case most of student get placed with college
Sports are getting promoted in college like always tournament and other thing are engaging

Dislikes

Attendance is very strict and some rules about attendance is very strict
Teaching style is not impressive and they will not focus on student that much .
Average package is very low and very number of companies visit in vollege

Course Curriculum Overview

My experience about the couse is not impressive. they teach very theoretically but we need to learn practically by only study the things practically we will not apply this things in real world problems.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

From the end of the sixth semester I will be eligible for the campus placement and this will run till last of the fourth year. Abd intership opportunities are negligible in terms of college you have to see outside college

Fees and Financial Aid

When I was joined the college in 2024, Its fee for btech degree is 5.5L but now it has increased to 6L. If you have home state quota of bengal then you gets chances of scholarship and if not then there chance of getting scholarship is very low. I recommend if you are choosing this college chose the department wisely because some departments are not as good as other.I think best courses are CSE and aiml in this college. Placement percentage are average but average package is not that good.

Campus Life

There is no facility pf hostel in the college so more 70% of campus life is gone and other 30% is average for some departments is good but for some are no campus life. Infrastructure of the is not as expected.

Admission

I have chosen this college because I don't have any pther options left by the ways also placement percentage is average my not that much impressive.I have also applied for other always but due to high cutoff didn't got that.

Faculty

Faculty of the college is average nor that much good. And you may experience egoistic teachers who treats you as no buddy. Also date of exams are always in any festival and any important thing. There are many clubs where always fests and other functions is planning but prof are not allowing you to participate as they will pressurize you by attendance.

Night Life

For beings night life in college there need a hostel but due to lack of hoatel facility in the college we don't have nights life as other colleges but can be enjoyed night life in flat where you will live that is quite intresting if you take flats near the college.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
