Course Curriculum Overview

The course is suitable for me... This sector is growing every year and have a great job opportunity.. For me the course curriculum and teaching methods are good ????. Timing of exams are fine .. We get enough time to prepare ourselves.. For me its fine

Companies like wepro and itc offer internship.. Donot know about roles offered under internships. Donot know about projects and outcome to clarify the tasks since i m in 1semester .. So donot know much about this field.

Placement Experience

after 6th sem studenta become eligible for campus placements. For our branch the college provide a very good placement records After getting the degree .. I prefer a decemt placement from college For my branch , i think almost 90+ percentage student are getting placed

Campus Life

Overall experience with campus life i bit good.. Also quite good at social aspects , club involvement is also great.. Great enjoyable and knowledgeable. Infrastructure is also quite good. Club involvement goes through out the year like technoutkarsh, sampriti, etc. In lib the availability of books are not so good. Sports and extracurricular activities are greatly offered on our campus.

Admission

I keep this college as my 1st option and i got this college in 1st round of wbjee , since this is best ft college in west bengal after jadavpur... I donot have enough rank so i applied for this college. My admission process is through wbjee.

Faculty

The faculty to student relation is very well. Faculties are really appreciable . The interaction between student and faculty is very healthy. Exams are quite hard but with the help of faculties its is really easy for us to clear it.

Night Life

Our college donot have gym but have cafeterias, lib.. Collehe donot have their hostel and campus timing varies. Famous hangout places like saltlake.. City centre mall and more.. Locality like.. City centre is safe at night to roam around

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .
