Course Curriculum Overview
This course provided a new insight of how computer applications can be applied to the business fields, this course was introduced by TATA group, which provides the alumnis of this stream and upper hand in TATA group.
Internships Opportunities
Various internship offers are there, but slightly difficult to crack a paid one, due to highly competitive atmosphere. Companies such as WIPRO, TCS offer various internship program to students. Internships are there generally form 3rd year, or some may grab it from 2nd year also.
Placement Experience
The average placement of the college is 6lpa , with the highest package being 25 lpa. Skilled students get a high ratio of off campus placement, the presence of academically bright students here makes the environment highly competitive and pushes one to next level.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for all BTECH streams for 2024-28 session is 6,05,000?/-, this includes general, gen-ews and management quota students. For TFW student, fee structure is 2,18,000?/- Staff is very helpful in matters related to loans and various other things whether be it academics or personal. Various scholarship programs are there, most common includes SVMC, AIKYASHREE by the gov of west bengal
Campus Life
Apart from academic, students get various opportunities to participate in clubs related to various things which gives them a good exposure which cannot be obtained academically, the involvement of cultura, technical, social and innovation council, makes it a worthy place to invest 4 years of a bachelor's life
Admission
At the rank, this was the best college which i could be assigned, it ranks at No.3 in the top private college in West Bengal. Also there is a good placement support over here, also it lies in the silicon valley of kolkata, referred as IT HUB, the on campus exposure to big companies was really fascinating.
Faculty
The college is affiliated to MAKAUT(formerly WBUT), there are 4 CUMULATIVE ASSESSMENT (CA) consisting of 25 marks each, 2 PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT(PA) 40 marks each, and end semester examinations for theory maximum marks is 70,and for practical maximum marks is 60.
Interview Experience
Students opting for B. Tech can take admission either through WBJEE OR JEE MAINS OR DIRECT ADMISSION. However, lateral entries are there for diploma students. WBJEE is the state conducted Join examination through which students can opt for either B. Tech or B. Pharma
Night Life
Library is there in the campus where students can spent their quality time studying, along with being wifi enabled for students. The IT hub provides a remarkable exposure to the industrial and cultural fields.
