Likes

There will many facilities like labs and ground
They will they your hobbies instead of study like dancing sports
Teacher of this college was impressed good and teaching skill was nice

Dislikes

Timing of this college like 9pm to 7am and dress was compulsory
Canteen because no more item for lunch will sell in this canteen and taste was poor
Infrastructure was not so good they were build college like a conjected area

Course Curriculum Overview

There washing was smelling so bad so I think they should wash it everyday and there lift facility was very small as compared to students I think it would open there cllg for 6 month and exam it after 6 month but this year our bach started form september so the time period was very short

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college we should paid 140000 per year addmission fee of this college was 80000 if your addmission will taken form wbjee and it will increase yearly and if you are form sc st you should pay 40000 only if you hai proof of this caste and if you are from jharkhand there will a scholarship name ekalyan which will give min 50 to 60 thousand per year

Campus Life

In our college there are many clubs like samarth for education purpose technokarsh for sports purpose ankuran for festival dance and many things like ramp walk purpose and annual function was so good hai festival celebration was not so good

Admission

I will choose this college because placement record of this college was good as compared to iem uem and other colleges and we will taught many things in this college like speaking English ready for interview and many things techno main salt lake was a excellent college who proved that every student has must have a some specific talent

Faculty

Faculty members was so many like 50 percentage of students I will physics teacher DRC maam was best facility roy sir was not good in nature there are 3 exam taken in college ca1,ca2,ca3 and it all was very easy

Night Life

There was no gym , cafeteria area this was really bad but there was a library not so big but it contains ac and desk and there was no hostel in this college and silpa rao and many famous singer will visit in our college in fest

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

This college is west bengal no 2 private college according to NIRF data and also placement basis. And techno has better quality in education rather than other college.
