BCKV: A new definition of Agriculture

Overall BCKV is the great place of learning in hand Agriculture.The quality education they provide are beyond expectations.Though campusing is not occurred in final year students,they get jobs in various government sectors with renowned position.

There are total 8 semester in B.Sc(Ag) degree.The course contain theory as well as practical subject per semester.Total course system is based on cgpa system. In last two semesters there will be optional module subject and RAWE programme.

In last 8 years there will be no campusing occurred in the university. Though private companies and few private banks came in the university till 2012. In the case of internship the university provides nothing.

A fresher programme occurred in 1st semester in the university campus. Annual feast named NEXUS occurs in every year in the month of February.In the memory of the great Rabindranath Tagore, NAIBEDYA is held Cultural programme named UNMESH occurred in the university playground.

Yes the fee structure is very much feasible. In bsc degree semester fee is Rs.8000 and admission fee is Rs.10000. Only meal charge is taken Rs. 2000 per month. There is no fee for residential in hostel.

No scholarship is provided by the university. Students apply for scholarships for their own way. University haven't started any scholarships or loan facility to the students. After completion of bsc agriculture students are gifted Rs. 15000 for RAWE programme.

Extracurricular activities are very good.Many events are occured frequently. Annual cultural programmes and sports are occured.A renowned krishi mela occurred every year in the university campus.Agriculture related seminar are held in every month.

Yes I am staying in hostel. The hostel facility is very good.A wooden table,an almariah,a chair and a bed is given to each student. Two students per room is alloted. Bathroom is also neat and clean.

In BCKV senior-junior relationship is just awesome.Seniors are really helpful towards any subject to the juniors.Proper bonding is maintained in the hostel as well as in faculty.BCKV alumni is everywhere.They are working in various fields maintaining the network between students.

First of all you need to pass higher secondary education with minimum 90% marks.Then you need to apply online on bckv.edu.in website for bsc admission.Then a merit list will be published by the university authority.Then counselling will occur in university campus.

The faculty is very good. All subjects in Agriculture are included in course and have different faculty also. Practical rooms are also separate for different subjects and well established. Instruments for practical purpose are also good.
