Course Curriculum Overview

5

Talking about the course curriculum: The real fun! If you don't like a subject you might think that what's the point to read this subject and in what purpose will I be beneficial reading this subject. But believe me dude, the subject might be a hectic one to cope up with but it's surely beneficial. Not only the subjects but also the trainings provided are helpful for your career to get selected for a company. It's the real struggle to cope up a subject you find boring but once you do you will surely find the benefits.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships: A key point to the ENGINEERING LIFE! If you have the skills required by a company you can surely avail internships and if you don't possess them right now again no worries, your mentor is always there to help you.

Placement Experience

5

Placement process is very good. The mentors will help you even there. Our college has a separate TPO i.e. Training and Placement Cell. Big Tech Giants like Wipro, TCS, L&T and many others have recruited students from our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got admitted to the college in the year of 2022 the course fee was: ?352000. For the first year, in total it was ?100000 and it was divided into two halves each for a semester: - First sem: ?60000( including admission fee of ?20000) Second sem: ?40000 Second year it got a increment of ?1000 excluding the admission fee and in total it became a sum of ?82000 which was again divided into two halves each: - Third sem: ?41000 Fourth sem: ?41000 Third year again the same as the second year: Fifth sem: ?42000 Sixth sem: ?42000 Fourth year is also the same: Seventh sem: ?43000 Eighth sem: ?43000 Scholarships like SVMCM is available for students who have achieved more than 60% in their HS or Diploma aiding an amount of ?60000.

Campus Life

5

College life: Let's fly! Firstly, talking about the campus life! Here, if you are sporty enough you will get your pals, if you like to study: a book worm, you will get your pals, if you like to manage or decor or compete you will get your pals. Precisely, you will always find something happening over. As a result, it's a brilliant campus life you can lead here. Socially this college can give you out a huge bunch of connections which will be helpful for your future life. Our college provides with a variety of clubs from sports to musics and cultural events. There's everything available you can think off. Even clubs for ecological movements. Infrastructure no doubt it's a gem of our SVIST.

Admission

I had applied for other colleges like Techno Main and many others but what attracted me to this college is something extraordinary. Before talking about the magnets of my college let's first get into "Why not the other one's?" 1. College fees was out of my reach. Yes, if I wanted to read there my parents could have surely afforded it for me, but with loans! Really blessed to have such parents ??. 2. The reviews that got my eyes. Yes, everyone of them had their pros and cons but SVIST stood out of the box for me. 3. I wasn't able to find the suitable course for me at my pocket friendly cost. Now to the magnets: 1. When I entered the college premises, the first vibe I got was "This is where my mid journey begins!" 2. The fees structure, pocket friendly obvio. 3. From the beginning they were very friendly and guided very well. The admission process is very simple: - You just need the xerox of HS and your JEE or WBJEE result, aadhaar card, birth certificate and a pan card if you have.

Faculty

5

The faculty members: The real pillars of a college!! This college is something that provides really helpful faculty members, our mentors. Obviously not everyone will like everyone, but leaving that matter outside each department helps the other department which shows what true team spirit can really look like.

Night Life

5

The nightlife: Let's hangout! Each one of us needs some refreshments after attending such great great lectures, don't we? No worries, it's available here. If you live very much away from the college you can contact mess or PGs for staying and accomodity. For refreshments like cafeteria and food, there's many stalls outside the college campus within a walking distance of 1km. If you want some place to stroll there's many destinations are available especially malls. You can surely take a ride there. If you want to timepass with your friends there are ponds with sitting arrangements and ofcourse cafeterias are the best places for that purpose.

A total of 12 offers were made. 50% students were placed among who registered. I am currently pursuing M.E in BIOPROCESS TECHNOLOGY from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY.

The college hosts a range of companies including TCS,Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant etc but iam not agree and satisfied with college internship and placement support The overall average placement ranges between 60-70 percent sometimes varying but not providing good internships to students also companies are not picking many students only hiring about 4-5 students, I don't think the college has good membership with companies.
