Likes

My college is quite affordable and cheaper than others
Infrastructure is good as a private college with having space.
Boys and gril ration is 3:1 and i must say it's a crowded college.

Dislikes

I have to travel almost 16 km to go to the college
The college is literally placed in a village
I don't like to wear uniforms in college

Course Curriculum Overview

I will rate 6.5/10 and as a 1st year student i don't have much experience about curriculum that influenced me... i just take it because i want a btech degree.. there are 2 sem in 1 year so the frequency of timing of exams is 6 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My Total fees structure is 4lakh 30 thousands, on admission i gave 80000, and now each semister i have to give 50000 , i have total 8 sem...and i haven't provided any type of scholarship but my mate's have there scholarship.

Campus Life

Yes we does have many clubs , like sports, dance, music band , canteen etc. And large amount of crowd to attend we have library to borrow books , and student union type of eligibility. And they held many competitions for students in various activities

Admission

I choose this college because its affordable, i and in kolkata its only college which is affordable for me . The distance is quiet lengthy but i dont have any problem to manage . And i got direct admission because my hs marks is not that low.

Faculty

I don't know the exact ratio but its good to handle students. And other than that ,they are comfortable to speak. I like the programing department faculty i don't remember the name and i don't like electrical department. I give my 1 sem and got 7.8 sgpa i expected more whatever.

Night Life

I don't live in hostel , so i really dont know about the night life , but my friends do ,and they are comfortable with that . They live in mess or hostel and we have gym in college so , its good for living in college campus.

Placement in our college is descent . Students typically become eligible for campus placement starting from the 5th Semester. For CSE/IT companies like TCS,CTS ,WIPRO, ACCENTURE etc... come for the placements. For Core branches like EE,ECE,ME Companies like L &T ,samsung, TATA Steel etc...come for offers. The highest package is around 8 to 10 LPA and the average is around 4 to 5 LPA. 70% to 80% of RCCIIT generally get placed across varios department. My plan is to persue MS from abroad/.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement starting from 6th semester ,meanwhile u can also get paid internship from 5th semester itself .The companies which visited the campus most frequently are Cognizant ,TCS ,Infosys ,IBM ,PwC ,BMC ,Tavisca ,Wipro ,Amazon .Tavisca provided over 12 LPA while BMC provided over 14 LPA ,meanwhile in 2024 ,a new record of highest package emerged which is of 21 LPA.The Average package is 480,000 rupee CTC .Over 80 to 90% of students are placed and the college has a very good alumni network which provides u with referrals and possible jobs.I plan to join a IT company after getting my degree

Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of the college is very good, cadets start getting placements from 2nd year but majorly the mass placement process starts from 3rd year. The packages ranges from 400-1200 USD as an engine cadet. There are major companies such as CHEVRON, MSC, DYNAGAS, NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, PACIFIC BASIN, MOL, IOCL, ZODIAC MARITIME, TORM TANKERS, etc that visit the college for placements every year. For every batch the placement ratio is above 95%. This college is known for its placements and alumni network

In on campus 3 to 4 companies came like Accenture, Cognizant, Capsitech and some startups. So many pooled campus companies were visited at that time. Average package offered was 4LPA. Minimum 60% in 10th and 12th is required to be eligible in the placement drive in most of the companies.

Course in a tough situation

I know Global institute of technology and management college where I started my Btech in mechanical engineering course is one of the great college in west Bengal for Btech but in these period during lock down causes of covid 19 our classes are not going very well. But although teachers are doing there best for teaching us all subjects and they also supporting us all the time. So I thik this will be a new experience with all of this. But one thing they always putting us pressure for submit money I mean fees from one month ago of the submission date of our fees. Nothing else just hoping for the best for future.

Every year college gives maximum job opportunity, many companies come last year, maximum 70-80% job confirmed from here with good package. Highest package 8.5 L and avg 5.5 L per year. But computer science and IT companies given good package than other companies.

Svist review

I have applied in du, gnit and got confirmed seats in du but due to family reasons I didn't make it in du. And in gnit i didn't got a seat in cse department as it was full but it was offering me aiml. Then there was svist which was closed to my house and was providing the course. I had applied for other colleges like Techno Main and many others but what attracted me to this college is something extraordinary. Before talking about the magnets of my college let's first get into "Why not the other one's?" 1. College fees was out of my reach.
