They teach us like each and every concept engage us and classes are very interactive.. and reading books like original is one thing is like that they prefer us to read originals . And they need improvement in terms of classes infrastructure smart boards and projects are needed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very less in comparison to other universities. It's just 7200 per year and other than that u don't have to pay any extra money in that whole year.. there arealso multiple scholarship provided to students on different basis..

Campus Life

Experience for me is very nice and I got to know alot of new aspects about my subject and they provide us to look into the diverse aspect which is a good aspect. And in extra curricular activities, there is also a sports complex in Jamia and even an annual fest always happen in every department during winters. The library is very nice. One should go to Jamia library once and they are going to love it.

Admission

I applied for delhi school of journalism and also JNU for language course which I both got into. But I choose Jamia because I feel Jamia provides diversity and even at that time I heard the facility and the faculty is nice which is also true and they are interactive. They not just give us books but first introduced us the thinkers and detailed information then we read the books

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always held that the training I recieved during my masters programme prepared the grounds for my future development. The teaching pedagogy was centres around participation and a two way dialogue. I am not in the capacity to be suggesting improvements in curriculum as my stint in the university was almost perfect- more than I could have ever asked for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed by the renowned professors and faculty members from different universities in India and from abroad as well. The content was choosen keeping in mind to cover all the aspects of the specific subject for a pg student. As I mentioned before, the quality of study material was very good and helpful and very enough. But the pg thesis is missing from our course, due to which we were not able to do a research project. It appears to me after the completion of my first year that we can do our research under our given faculty but it wasn't mentioned in the course structure as it is mainly upto our faculties.

In IGNOU, you can study from anywhere because the courses are offered in distance and online mode. You don’t have to attend regular college; you can study at home using the books, PDFs, and online lectures. IGNOU also provides online teachers through live classes, recorded videos, and doubt-clearing sessions on their online platforms. This makes it easy for students to learn even if they are working or living in another city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.

It is often recommended curriculum for UPSC/MPSC/political journalism. However they need to provide teachers or short video lectures do that the course become comprehensive.
