Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I paid is 19320 for 1st year and the tution fees and other necessary fees vary in very college but In my college the At Aryabhatta College, the fee structure for various courses differs based on the category of the student (General, SC/ST, OBC, or Management). Here’s a general breakdown: Tuition Fees: For undergraduate courses, tuition fees are typically higher for Management quota students compared to those in other categories. The fees for SC/ST students are generally lower due to government subsidies. Caution Fees: A refundable caution fee is charged at the time of admission, which is the same across categories. Registration Fees: This is usually a one-time fee paid at the time of admission and is consistent across categories. Admission Fees: Admission fees are standard but may vary slightly depending on the course type. Development Fees: These fees contribute to infrastructural development and are generally consistent across categories. Lab Fees: For science courses, lab fees are charged separately. These fees vary depending on the specialization. Other Compulsory Charges: This includes library fees, exam fees, and other student welfare charges, which may vary slightly for different categories. Scholarships & Financial Aid: Merit-cum-Need Scholarships: Aryabhatta College offers merit-cum-need-based scholarships for deserving students. Government scholarships for SC/ST students are also available. Government Schemes: SC/ST students can avail of various state and central government scholarships. It’s advisable to check the college’s official website or the student office for specific fee details.

From 6th sem students become eligible for placement cells.I have not many ideas about how the placement works in my college, though the average package is between INR 3 LPA to INR 5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is almost 70 percent. My plans after getting the degree is going for cuet pg to get admission for postgraduation courses in Delhi... particularly JNU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not designed to meet new standards of education as of the world. The curriculum still holds the long theoretical part that are no longer needed for the students. Curriculum should contain more of the real world teaching as well as skill development programs including the regular debates and influential skill training.

The curriculum activities are kind of normal. I really want something interesting like i got a teacher this sem who gave us different types of curriculum activities as assignment instead of making us write 12 pages that is waste of time and efforts in my opinion. The exam level is moderate to high but overall average student can score good.
