All about IIT KHARAGPUR

Here the courses are taken according to your JEE ADVANCED ranks for B.Tech. But the main thing is that here placement is quite good in comparison to other colleges and placement average is also good. The exam level is tough and frequency of exams is high. Here courses are taught on the basis of real world application.

There are several opportunities available by many companies for internship as well as per placement offers are also provided by many companies. Internships are provided in the basis of skills you have.

From 6th semester students are eligible for internship and in 4th year students are eligible for placements. The placement of this institute is good. Microsoft, Google, PhonePe, Boat, Tata, etc. like these many companies visited in campus. The highest package in this year this is 2.7 crore per annum and average package is around 18 laks per annum.

In one year we have two semester. So, for every semester, Tution fees is one lakh (100000) and you will avail scholarship for tution fees - (1) if your parents annual income is 1 lakh to 5 lakh then you have to pay only 33333 for tution fees and (2) if your parents annual income is below 1 lakh then you can study for free i.e. your tution fees is zero. Here admission fees is around 6000 and labs fees is not there. Here, fees Structure for ST category - If you apply your caste certificate then your tution fees is zero and you can study free of cost.

There is one technical fest held in January month named Kshitij fest and one cultural fest held in January named Spring Fest. Also there is one sports fest held in October named Shaurya but this year due to some issues also will be hold on January 2025.

There are single sharing rooms and triple sharing rooms are there in hostel. Single sharing room is provided in 4th year and 5th year and triple sharing room is provided in 1st 2nd and 3rd year. The meal quality of hostel is good. In single sharing room one window, one balcony, one fan, one tubelight, one almirah, one bed, one table and one chair provided and in triple sharing room three fans, three tubelight, one balcony, three window, three tables, three chairs, three beds and three almirah are there.

For admission in this institute you have to clear JEE Advanced Exam.The cutoffs for admission in this course is your All India Ranks for general category less than 10000. I want admission in this institute so it is on my top priority and I am not rejected by other colleges.

(1) Here the total faculty is 770+ and the total students is 16830+ and also the number of staff is 930+. (2) The relationship between students and professors is quite good. (3) Here for every subject there is one mid semester exam and one end semester exam and minimum one test. Every semester duration is 4 months.

The campus is safe to roam around at night and there is no fear of anything. There is no restrictions in hostel for going out of hostels in night and day. There is one gym of overall institute and also separate gym also provided in hostels. There is one central library of Institute which is Asia's biggest library. There are several night canteens in campus.
