Here dressing is not compulsory and I like it.
Hostel and connection with seniors is the best thing in this college.
Here allumni is very helpful and is very cooperative.

Dislikes

Here you can see and learn political thinking.
Grading are too much bad. Bad grade are given.
Professors in civil department is to much irritating.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I want to say that if u want to choose this branch then IIT Kharagpur don't choose.here some professors are so bad like they give low grade and give too much F grade in few subjects and teaching style is so bad.

Class Size: 125Course Fees: INR 156000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For sc and st category - Students don't need to pay tuition fees. They pay mess fees, hostal fees, registration fees..... excluding tution fees which is approximately 42 thousand. Actually fees are vary like sometimes it is 42000 and some times 40000. For OBC and general category - If their income is less than 100000 then they don't need to pay tuition fees. If income is less than 500000 then total fees is 152000 otherwise 320000.

Campus Life

Here many festivals are organised. Kshitij is a tech festival which is organised in the month of January. And spring fest is also the best fest which is organised in the month of last January. Both are the main fest in the IIT kharagpur. Saurya is a sport fest. Department fests are also organised here.

Admission

I don't apply another college for any course because I have not completed my graduation degree yet. Fir admission in IIT Kharagpur you have to clear jee mains and advanced exam. Then you have to apply for registration and then u have to come here for some reason.

Faculty

My name is Ashish Ranjan Kumar and I am from patna, Bihar. Currently I am living in Kharagpur West Bengal. I am a third year Undergraduate Student of department of the civil engineering. Here in every semester I have to give two exams and many tests are taken.

Interview Experience

You have to give jee main and advanced exam for taking admission in this college. Firstly if u clear the jee main then You can give advance exam. After this we have to apply for counseling and then arrange your college according to your choice. After getting the college you have to come here and do registration.

Night Life

Here in every hall gym are available and also a special gym for all students are available. I have to pay 500 per semester for the special gym. Here many cafeterias are available.In every hall library are available and also a big and special library are available in which every types of book are available.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Clg Review

Since I was interested in getting into an IIT from class 11, and IIT KGP was the only college that gave the best branch to college ratio among all other IITs that I was eligible for based off my rank. The admission process for my college for B.TECH involves JOSAA, a counselling system for all government engineering colleges in India where the eligibility criteria is based off JEE ADVANCED rank. Since you can only select one college through JOSAA, the only one i selected was this as this was the only one I was alotted based off my rank. The cutoff for my college is around 12000 for General Male and 20000 for General Female. This increases for other categories like SC ST OBC etc....Read More
