Entrance Preview
IIT JEE was the exam I was preparing for. I secured INR 2416 in 2009 and I opted this college because here I was getting the kind of branch I wanted to do the Engineering in. :-)
Course Curriculum Overview
The course provides you the liberty of doing anything you want. You can go for higher studies if you have inclination towards research. You can become a successful corporate professional, the college has such campus placement. Long thing short awesome is word to assess the course curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, My college has got many internship opportunities in many Engineering fields. Companies like ITC, HUL, Microsoft and Google visit the campus for internship. An average of 10k per month students get from their internships. Students generally spend two months in their internship. I don't know about other's experiences but mine was too good to be true. I learnt so many fruitful things that help me till today.
Placement Experience
As I have already mentioned above about internship opportunities in my college, the job opportunities and placements are equally good. Out of 1100 students, around 1000 were placed from the campus itself. Companies such as Rio Tinto, facebook, Google and Microsoft come from abroad and companies like Flipkart, JP Morgan etc come to recruit freshers for this country only. An average of 7 LPA people get every year from my college.
College Events
We total have three fests every year that is Spring Fest, Kshitij and Shaurya. Spring fest is the social and cultural fest that we have at the end of January and after three or four days we have Kshitij that is a technology fest. both these two fests are a high budget ones and Shaurya which is Sports fest is a smaller one relatively. Other than these three fests we have Inter Hostel events which we do with full of our passion.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I can say my college is a semi government college. The fee is not that high and not at all expensive because the students who can't afford the fee get a scholarship called MCM every year. The facilities provided by my college is highly efficient and hence a semi government college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, students who are not financially sound get the scholarship called MCM every year, and students get loan very easily in the name of my college.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is really very poor. An average of 12 guys are there for one girl. I have already mentioned about labs and extracurricular activities in above questions. Societies like Robotics, Spats and Scholars Avenue are there which creates an extra curricular aptitude in any student. Overall these societies create the kind of culture in campus that is actually required.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are not very good as most of the hostels are not newly made and hostels lack in maintenance. In the first two years we get two people sharing room and third year onwards we get a single room that is pretty awesome, and lastly the hostel
Alumni/Alumna
Out Alumni network is very very strong. You name the field, our alumni are every where. A lot of big names have studied from college such as Google CEO Sundar Pichai, former RBI governor D. Subbarao and even Arvind Kejriwal, CM of Delhi. Are they helpful, of course they are :-)
Exam Structure
We had eight total semesters in our college and every semester we had labs and main courses. Every week we had to attend around three labs and five courses. Different days have the different schedule altogether. Sometimes we have to face a very hectic day
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified and has a very well research background. Though they are little stringent about academics. They tend to appreciate everything that is done in the area of research and academics. But it doesn't mean you can't do things you w
