Course Curriculum Overview

Bsc course have total 8 semester based on credit system in BCKV. Every semester have 8 to 11 courses. each course have 2 short test of 25 marks and end term of 50 number which is external. practical number is 100 in each course.the last semester of bsc ag course is RAWE.

Placement Experience

Previous BCKV had placement facilities.After bsc ag students got placed in banks.but now a days there is no placement facilities. Though students prepared for bank and other govt jobs after bsc or msc in BCKV.

College Events

Annual social programme like NAIHRIT occurs in every year. Freshers program and annual sports are also occured.Krishi Mela is also held in the campus. Various artists are came in the NAIHRIT social programme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much appreciated in BCKV.In bsc course admission fee is around 4k and semester fee 2k. hostel fee is around 2k. caution money is taken at the time of admission of rs 3k which is refundable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship offered by the college.the students are applied for loan facility in the bank located at the college campus. however students can be applied for various scholarship which are provided by the Govt.

Campus Life

Laboratory facilities are very good.it have well equipped instruments required for various field experiments and lab works in each departments.two big ground are located in the campus for playing cricket, football etc.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I am a boarder in hostel.the ug hostel is very good.they have clean lobby, rooms and bathrooms. WiFi facilities is also available.a table a chair and an almarih are given for each student.tv and carrom board, table tennis are also provided.

Alumni/Alumna

BCKV have a unique bond between juniors and seniors. Seniors are very much helpful for any matter. BCKV have good alumni network all over the country.they are very much helpful in various fields.

Admission

I got admission in BSc.Ag course in BCKV by applying online.They published merit list based on the aggregate number of Higher Secondary of Science stream of the number of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Total number of seats in bsc ag is 120

Faculty

Good infrastructure and well equipped laboratory is in BCKV. Teaching facilities are also good.It have good quality teachers.they provide notes. WiFi and computer facilities are also here.The teachers are also give special classes for competitive exams like jrf.

Placements do occur but are Irreregular. Students from 7th semester are eligible for the placements. Companies like pradan mankind etc. Do visit frequently. Average packages 5lakh per annum. Approx 30 % and above get placements.

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..
