Likes

The teachers are very friendly, teaching methods are digitalised. Different faculty for different subject
Social Life the best in this college in entire Mumbai. The Fests are almost every month. The intercollegiate competitions are taken very seriously and students are motivated to participate in it.

Dislikes

The infrastructure as in a 9 floor building there are almost 11-12 colleges offerring different specialisation. So not much facilities other than library and gymkhana
Some faculties are still not adopting modern methods of teaching. Power game is played sometimes with students

Its ranking in Financial Markets course in overall Mumbai. Frequently assessments via assignments and class tests. They could implement some changes prevailing in current education system and mend course according to it.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are offered in various developed and small, medium as well as mnc companies. The internships are well defined and progressive for students. I did internship with PhillipCapital for Business Development Role. The roles offered for students are of various domain offering expertise and options.

Placement Experience

The highest placement was 14 Lpa for Bcom course and average package was 6 Lpa. Reputed companies like HDFC, JP Morgan, TresVista, Morgan Stanley, PhillipCapital etc were visiting the campus. 100% placement.

Tution Fees 22000 Resources usage fees 2000 Exam Fees 9000 Gymkhaana 400 ID Card and Library 3000 Computer Lab fees 1000 Miscellaneous 3000 Average Fees per Semester 42000-45000 Total 6 semesters. 2 semester per year. Tution and exam fees changing every semester.

Campus Life

Library was amazing. Every book was maintained and resources were available every time. The fest held were Finanza, Numero, Reclamo, Kshitij, Chemtrek, and all these are held in months of Nov-Feb. Fests are departmental so Chemistry, Psychology, Finance, Biology, literary arts etc have their fests.

Admission

Other colleges I applied to was Somaiya and NMIMS. I didnt got into NMIMS because of high cutoffs. And Mithibai is way better than Somaiya in terms of study, faculty, college life. Mithibai list was declared first than Somaiya so I chose Mithibai.

Faculty

The Faculties are much approachable. The Best faculty i encountered is Jaison Thomas. He understands students requirements and mentality and sometimes gives free lecs to release the fatigue. But in the end he does finish his portion. Some teachers are very very serious and are dominant and powerful towards students.

Night Life

Therr isn't any night life as the campus comprises of only one building. But for practicing in intercollegiate competitions the workshops are allowed to be kept till 8 pm max. Otherwise there isn't any night life and also there isn't hostel for students.

Best College For Personal Growth

Placement Experience:

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

Mithibai has great placement opportunity as there are big companies that comes for campus placement like KPMG, DELOITTE, JP MORGAN and EY. So it can give great start to students in corporate world. This is one of the reasons I chose mithibai over other colleges. Also there are so many clubs that I can be a part of to form connections, gather ideas and build leadership skills. I also applied to NMIMS, DU and I got admission there. Reason for not choosing was simple that the opportunities for me were more at Mithibai than any other college and it was a great decision overall.
