Course Curriculum Overview

The overall course is very much relevant for world applications. Many subjects in course are useful in further studies as well. Students interested in management can pursue and learn many things that can be useful in further world.

Class Size: 350Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

3 years fees is approximately 125000 .For BMS but now it has increased to approximately 90000 per year. This is for BMS sindhi minority students. Their is also option for partly payments students can request and pay.

Campus Life

SHAAN event and MYSTIQUE are the two major events happening in college in the month of December. Other then this many other events and activities take place throughout the year. Many useful books are also available in college library. Every classroom has its own digital board .

Admission

I applied for Jai Hind college and KC college. Got selected in KC college but decided to go with HR college due to better placement offers after graduation. I didn't got select in JAI HIND college because I missed their deadline of admission process. The admission process in HR College is completely online and easy.No paper work or something which is a relief for every student during admission process.

Faculty

Faculty is very friendly with students while teaching and also strict and disciplined where ever necessary. Professor like Mr Rahul Mishra sir. are one of the best in college. There are 6 semester external exams in college.And 90 percent students clear it without backlog.

Night Life

Gym and library are their in college but no canteen. College timings are mostly from 10 .30am to 1.30 pm Famous hangout places near are marine drive and starbucks. And at night i have never been their so cannot comment on safety.

Likes

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.
The campus infrastructure is excellent, featuring modern labs, a well-stocked library, and great sports facilities.
Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

A perfect blend of learning and industry exposure.

Likes

The faculty is extremely experienced and provides valuable industry perspective.
The campus is modern and equipped with smart classrooms, media, labs, studios and an excellent library.
The placement cell is very helpful and active, getting students placed with firm.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good so providing variety in food.
sometimes coordination between department can be smoother.
The course is a bit on the expensive side when it comes to fees.

Best College with Loving Memories

Admission:

The admission process is easy in my college. Students do not have to appear for any Entrance examination. For Taking admission in B.M.S course, students should get minimum45% marks and reserved category students should get 40% marks in Xll Standard.

I applied to Somaiya along with H.R. I did not accept somaiya as they dont have BAF program. I also chose this college mostly because it has more than 50 clubs and so much exposure. The admission in H.R. is simple. You have to fill application on HSNC university website. Fill your details. Wait for merit list and you get admission if you pass the eligibility criteria which is 70% for sindhis and 80% for open category. HR college is the highest level!!
