Likes

The faculty is approachable and well qualified. Labs are maintained and stocked at all times. Anti ragging facility is extremely top notch and is a safe campus for students

Dislikes

Fees is a little too high and could be more affordable if some fees like the caution fee would be implied only on alternate semesters

BCA is a growing curriculum which emphasises on computer applications and our college reallyy delivers the needful properly. Students can leverage their skills and earn internships to take up part time projects and jobs

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise feed that i am paying for my course is around 1,12,000 which entails 56,000 per semester . This includes the tuition fee,caution fee,registration fee,lab fee, The admission fee is however only charged in the first semester

Campus Life

The campus life is actually amazing. It has good transportation,good facilities,good canteen,many extra curricular clubs to indulge in and a good environment to be in. I would recommend every one to give a thought about this college

Admission

The admission process is actually very smooth you just have to fill out the form present your grade cards talk to the registration faculty and if all your classification fits then you will be admitted in no time

Faculty

The faculty is well skilled and the teache to student ratio is well balanced. All faculties are available 24*7 to ask doubts and clear any questions Syllabus is completed diligently and properly and attendance is also strictly considered

Night Life

Nightlife is pretty mundane because the college is lovated in a industrial and professional area and is surrounded by pgs and flats to a long distance so that is not as students would expect and want to have a life in

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus in the last i,e 8th semester before that their not eligible for campus placement Conpanies like Tcs , Capgemini, tech mahindra, accenture etc visites the college for BCA placements The average offers ranges from 4-6 lakhs per annum the highest was around 12lakhs The highest was 12 lakhs per annum from Accenture and lowest was 3 lakhs per annum by tcs The student percentage is around 80 percent of then get placed while some also pursue higher studies My plan is to pursue Mtech from abroad and then eventually get placed at a nice company

The great experience at BIMS

Placement Experience:

After completing 2nd semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Tcs wipro has visited our college. They also arranged job fail in their campus. Around 50 to 60 percent stdents got placed. I should prefer to have higher study after completing BCA.

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
