Likes
- The faculty is super experienced and have a good grip on the subject.They instruct us promptly and guide us very well regarding job opportunities, internships and future job prospects in the field. Computer science being a volatile field
- The infrastructure of this college is amazing with proper seating and a huge library for students
- The college feats are really reputed for their celebrity appearances and never disappoints the students
Dislikes
- The students are very self oriented and aren’t very interactive unless you participate in fests
- Some teachers are egotistical about their subjects and cannot stand being challenged
- The college doesn’t have a campus for students to roam around
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed for real world application with python and c++ being the main languages. Faculty is also keen on teaching newer languages like rust which have more chances of being the next big thing. The frequency of examination is standard at 4 Sem per year They can improve in student teacher interactions
Placement Experience
After the 12th Sem students become eligible for campus placements We have mnc like Morgan Stanley, TCS etc With average package being 7LPA And highest package reaching 45 LPA The percentage of students getting placement is about 92% My plans after degree is to goo abroad for masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is 81840 Excluding lab fees,exam fees, registration fees,and other miscellaneous expenses Lab fees is 870 rupees Registration fee is 250 rupees Miscellaneous Expenses being 80 rupees This is for the Gujarati minority
Campus Life
We have annual fest called Kshitij which is the best fest in Mumbai, we also participate in Vashi our tech fest, mood indigo etc Our on campus sports are negligible but we do have a turf alongside our college where football and cricket are played The library is quite extensive to say the least because they have a wide variety of books ranging from languages to history and technical knowledge regarding cs There are various clubs I personally was part of the mls (Mithibai literary society)
Admission
The admission process went very smoothly provided I was a Mithibai student in Junior College It maybe different for others but for me it went smoothly. I applied for VJTI and BITS but couldn't get in vjti and bits was financially too steep for me economical conditions
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 40:1 and it is really great according to me . We get enough personal interaction so as to not feel neglected but it's not super personalised as some people would like it to be. The faculty is great academically and are super confident and supportive
Night Life
Nightlife is superb in and around college with Juhu beach being so near and we have the world famous Anand Vadapav We have a local Starbucks just walking distance from our college We can unwind with playing chess in the gym or by roaming in the Lokhandwala area We have good hostels and pg houses very near by our college
