Likes

the campus of the college is very beautiful as it is surrounded by mountains.
there are clubs which any student can join according to personal intrests
teaching is great as there are many international faculty teachers

Dislikes

sometimes the teachers get lazy maybe to salary issues
attendance issue is always there as we have to maintain 80% attendance per subject to give the exam
facilities are great but i think there should be more lab work coding sessions which i feel are less

this course includes great coding work and even the particular subject for the specalization you have chosen the course doesnt require any improvements as the curriculum is fantastic exams timing vary according to the course

Fees and Financial Aid

fee strucutre of upes increases for my program per semester my first year fee was 204000 and now i am in 3rd year so its now 215000 my college doesnt provide any scholarships but there are clubs which provide it

Campus Life

library includes every book you require as the issue timing is one month for every book clubs are great oppurtunityto socalize and it even includes scholarships sports activities are also there in the college like cricket football basketball and further more there are many snooker clubs outside the college for enjoyment

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility is great as you can get hostel with a registration processs through mail provided byh college i am in a flat outside campus which is around 4km away from college but there are college buses and trackers to reach to the college if any student is living outside without a vechiele

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

i didnt apply to any other college because this college provides a beautiful environment admission process is thriught your 12th percentage even goes with your JEE score otherwise i gave a upesnet which i cracket got sselected

Faculty

there are teachers for every course provided by the univerity and the teachers are experienced and great in mentorship and providing the ease to students the end sem exams comprises of 50% and the mid sem of 20% rest the internals of 30% whuch further makes your grade card and tells you the cgpa

Night Life

gym and other areas like playground are open till 9pm and the gym facilities for students and less for gym you need to fill a form as it goes with first come first serve hostel campus is great and the food requirements for hostel are nice for hostel students they can walk in campus till 12pm

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse. There were no placements also, just for small matters they send you from one person to other and for some university matters you will have to go other campus just for some signatures....Read More
