What Students Say

Likes

Good atmosphere out there with pretty decent campus
If you can maintain CGPA, placement is for sure
Extra course are also offers like open BBA which is very handy and useful

Dislikes

To get permissions for leave and gate pass is big challenge
No much events to explore and enjoy university life
Not that great infrastructure to look after and even the mess food could be even better

Course Curriculum Overview

Along with theory part there is also many seminar sessions and field trips held for the sake of practical knowledge. This curriculum would definitely bring change once time table . There will be a perfect balance in exams and holidays

Internships Opportunities

Even though I didn't did any intership as of now, but our university is having an separate department to provide interships for the students. If your really passionate and will to do the college will also provide you with an intership abroad.

Placement Experience

As I mentioned before , placement is the main strength of our university, all need is to maintain CGPA. Most of the students get placed in 3 year itself and placement drives are done throughout the year .

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly we will be paying around 2.4 lacs including tution , hostel and mess fee. It can be paid in 3 terms . There are many scholarship provided by our university to students like first graduate scholership and many more . The fee might be constant for next couple of years

Campus Life

When it comes to clubs , there are many clubs in our university like readers club ,Leo club , cultural club , tosters club and many more . You can take active participation in club activities to gain some good recognition.

Admission

Our university is well known for its 100% placement, all you need to do is maintain CGPA above 9 is more than enough . If your really talented you would be placed even before joining the course itself

Faculty

For each semester their will be 3 prior examinations and one final examination. Also academic calendar is given at the starting of the semester. Faculty is very friendly and approachable, but it depends on the way you behave with them .

Night Life

Even though our university is outside the city it as many shops to access near by . All the amenities can be fulfilled there only . Medical shops , clubs , waterparks , utility stores and restaurants are also available

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Nice environment, Student support system, living in a whole different world.

I applied to a few colleges like Anna University and SRM but got confirmed admission only at AMET University. I chose AMET because of its strong focus on maritime studies and practical training, which other colleges lacked. I faced rejection elsewhere mainly due to lower entrance exam scores. AMET’s admission process requires passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and accepts scores from TNEA and other engineering entrance exams, with TNEA being the most preferred. Structured comfort and seafaring discipline.

First off all, i didn't apply to any other colleges, then for addmission, they took very long to intimate the dates, again and again I was calling one of the faculty and was asking for dates. Management is responsible for providing information.to the students. While admission, first they asked to pay an advance amount of rs. 25000/- from the course fees i.e rs. 300000/- to confirm my seat. Then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs. 40000/- which was not available then they asked to pay hostel fees of rs 50000/- to confirm the hostel.
