Kumaraguru - A wonderful journey

Personal intrest in this stream made me to opt this course and this in particular college. But i think practical teaching could be a little better. The curriculum prepares me the best to face real world application The frequency of the exam will once in one and half month

Some companies offer intership for 6-12 months with stipend for every month Some companies offer direct placement with package. Projects will be held on final semester for every student as team or may be individual The best project will be selected and placed if the company wishes

Placement will be held every year in which nearly 2000+ students placed in various companies from various locations. Companies like cobnizant zoho bosch wipro tcs L&T ect recruit every year. The highest package will be 1600000 per annum and average will be 500000 per annum Minimum percentage for the placement is 70 percentage

The year wise fees for the first year will be around 87000 which includes university feel admission fees development placement & training fee, tution fee internship fee and other fees The following second,third and final year will be around the same 85000 to 87000 per year For scholarship the total amount for fees will be given to eligible students. Likewise Mahatma Gandhi Merit scholarships of amount Rs 10000 will be given to 10 students of every department and every year for those who have outstanding performance in theri academics

The annual festival is YUGAM which is celebrated as one of the biggest cultural programmes in Tamil Nadu In which famous personalities will join the programs and students from different colleges can also participate by paying certain ticket amount. Yugam will take place about 2-3 days .. Jananam is also a annual cultural festival which only Kumaraguru College students takes part.Other than workshops are conducted every now and then

Basic facilities like fan but no ac provided. separate cot study table and cupboards are given for each person Four numbers alloted per room. Speaking about the meals the bestt meals i have ever had.minimum 3 to maximum 6 dishes per meal . I also rented a pg which is average when compared to institutions hostel Hostel in institutions is based on first come first basis

I applied councelling in which i was offered a several college based on my marks. First i opted CIT coimbatore following psg coimbatore and third option as Kumaraguru College Technology coimbatore. Failing to reach the cutoff for the first 2 college i got admitted to Kumaraguru College for my marks. The cutoff will be different based on the the results. Other than councelling who are willing to join this college through management seat needs to write entrance test

JiThe faculty students ratio will be 1:10. They are very approachable and more knowledgeable persons. Every faculty is best in theri own way..they will merge and guide us Our college is autonomous affiliated to Anna University So we have 4 internals and 2 semseter per year (i.e, 2 internal per semester) The internal marks will be added in the semester which accounts for 60 percentage and 40 percentage from semester exam They exams will be moderate not too tough

Separate Gyms for both boys and girls in their hostels Biggest and largest library where 50000+ books and who spends most of time will be rewarded with gift. Though Hostel building is little obsolescence but the maintenance is best There are several hangouts near colleges
