Course Curriculum Overview

3

the curriculam is good to meet the real world applications. the management keeps includng new subjects as elective courses to keep up with the industries. the standard subjects are a bit old fashioned still the faculties do a good job discussing the latest trends that take place in the industry. the classes are all smart classes and the labs are also very good . the technical clubs also provide equipmets that can be utilised to study irrespective of whether the student is a member of the club or not. some of the old ethods in the cariculam can be omitted .

Internships Opportunities

1

the intership oppourtinites are low. even though some internships are provided most of them are found by the student rather than the campus. the roles provided in the intrernship is also not that great.

Placement Experience

2

the cmapus does provide placements . they also provide placement training . the number of companies approaching for recruitment are pretty fair but there is a lack in core companies and only low number of recruits are taken by them. there are a number of it and services companies that come as recruiters . the average package for companies vary from 3lpa to a max of 5 lpa . previous year the intake was pretty low comparedto its previous academic years. a nmber of students persue hgher studies which include both foregien universiies and renowed universities from india.

Fees and Financial Aid

during the admission a fee of 125000 as tuition fee for the year and an additional amount of 35000 for university registration , caution deposit etc are to be paid,. for the following 3 years an amount of 125000 is to be paid as the tuition fee along with 3 to 5 thousand rupee for exam registration according to the number of subjects. every semester there is a scholar ship called mahatma gandi scholarship for the academically brillainat students worth an amout of 30000. there are concession for obcs and sc , st students. the students taking admission through merit has lower tuition fee.

Campus Life

3

clubs and forums are a stronghold for the campus as there are a number of active clus and forums such as garage for automotive ethusiasts, nigal for videography, studio kct for photography, music bandsand dance troops for both classical and western style. the infrastructure is also good witha big lavish mess and cafes such as cafe coffe day and students run cafe such as kore . the management is also suppourtive of new ideas that the students bring forward. the campus is also suppourtive of sports where thaere are a lot of teams such as cricket, football, basketball, kho kho etc whre the students can take part activey. the campus lacks when it comes to culturals as only a single fest calles yugam is conducted every year whichgoes for4 days . ther are no clebrations of festivals such as holi, onam etc. a vast library with a number of books and journals are also present in the cmapus.

Admission

the college had better infrastructure and facilities compared to other colleges. the admission i took was throug management quata hence the prise looked more afooradable compared to other colleges. the management was more student friendly with respect to other colleges and provided more oppournities fot the students.

Faculty

4

the faculty to students ration are good with enough faculties to meet the needs. most of the faculties are really good towards the studenst except a few. they are very knowledgeable with regard to their subjects and have industrial experience. they are helpful and very approachable when it comes to academics and all other aspects. there are 2 internal exam and one end semester exmas every sem. the subjects with practicals will have 2 mock labs and one end semester lab exam. the exams are pretty standard and can be passed with a litte effort. the difficulties vary with the subject. in a class 0f 60 there are atleast 5 to 6 students who cant clear the exam in the first try.
