Likes

The location of the college is very good
It provides calm and peaceful atmosphere to students
The surroundings are suitable here for studying since there are very less distractions.

Dislikes

Very hard to score good marks in exams since marking done by teachers are very tough.
Low availability of water is found here in the college
No big city is near the college . The oniy place near the college is pauri .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is outdated since it belongs to old days. The curriculum should be set accordingly to the modern days since the daily is day to day changing. Mostly the questioms in exams are previous year questions.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college is very less compared to most of the other colleges. Yearly fees is 105000 ruppees. Different scholarships are there in the college for students of different categories. Nsp and Armed forces scholarships are also present here.

Campus Life

Campus life in this college is very less since there is no proper facilities provided here . The students take part in all the activities organized by the college. All the clubs are under SAC (Students Activity Cell).

Admission

I chose this college because in my rank I got only this college. The admission in BTech in this college is through jee mains examination. Scoring low rank in the exam can also make you get this college.

Faculty

Some faculties are fine but most of the faculties are very bad. They give unnecessary back in exams to students. Nobody listen to students here. Course per year is done in two semisters. One is summer semester and other is winter semester.

Night Life

There is no night life here since the college is in a village and all the nearby shops close in the evening. The in time for boys is 8pm and for girls it is 6pm . Hence there is no nightlife here in the college.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
