- College administration is very bad for engineering culture
- Hostel in time is 6 PM for the girls and girls are not allowed to go outside college boundary.
- It's very cold here in winters but heaters are not allowed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decided by the Uttarakhand technical university. The curriculum is okay for theory purposes but outdated for practical uses in the modern times. The exams here are harder than other colleges in the state.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are paid semester wise... 33000 in odd and 32000 in even semester approximately. But due to remote area, you will have to go for hostel with 35000 annual fees. 2 students per branch get college fees waiver
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is goonj, generally happens in April or May. For cultural activities the college does help the students, but don't gises financial support easily. But fir technical events, the college administration us completely dead.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not very good, but for 18k a semester, the quality is very acceptable. Meal quality is definitely not good, but depends on hostel to hostel. But boys have to live 3 in a room till 3rd year, and girls live 5 in a room till 3rd year and 2 in 4th year.
Admission
The admissions in this college happen thru uttarakhand technical university counseling on the basis of jee mains. But if some seats are still empty, we can apply on class 12th basic. Other seats are filled thru lateral entry for polytechnic students.
Faculty
Some of the faculties are very good, but majority is not very good in teaching and overall behaviour. This college has 2 seasonal exams and one semester examinations every sem. Faculties are approachable, but not so helpful in practical engineering stuff.
Night Life
There is nothing like nightlife in this college. Cafe shops are not very good and library remains open only for few hours on only weekdays. And there is no any public area in this college where we can do things without any official permission.
