THERE ARE SO MANY BRANCHES. LIKE COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING AND ITS SPECIALISATION AIML, AIDS , CYBER SECURITY, DATA SCIENCE. BESIDES THERE ARE BRANCHES LIKE EE, ME, CE, BME ETC. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN WEST BENGAL

THE CAMPUS OF OUR COLLEGE IS REALLY GOOD. FACULTIES ARE WELL EXPERIENCED AND HELPFUL. SENIORS ARE FRIENDLY.OUR HIGHEST PACKAGE IS 32 LAKHS PER ANNUM. AVERAGE IS 6.5 LALHS PER ANNUM. OUR COLLEGE ALSO PROVIDE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. TCS , INFOSYS ETC . IT COMPANIES VISITS OUR CAMPUS. OUR CAMPUS IS TOTALLY RAGGING FREE . FREE WIFI IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS.

OUR ANNUAL FUNCTION IS MESMARISER. OUR TECH FEST IS CALLED ABAHAN. AND OUR FRESHERS WELCOME PARTY IS CALLED PRELUDE. THERE ARE SO MANY CLUBS LIKE ECO CULTURAL, PHOENIX, GOOGLE DEVELOPMENT, SPORTS OFFICIAL CLUB ETC.

I HEARD ABOUT THIS COLLEGE FROM MY SENIORS AND ALSO MY RESPECTED TEACHERS. I GOT THIS COLLEGE FROM WBJEE COUNCELLING. TO GET THIS COLLEGE 'S CORE CSE BRANCH WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION ONE SHOULD WBJEE RANK UNDER 10000 .

Faculty

ACCORDING TO MY OPINION FACULTIES ARE WELL EXPERIENCED AND REALLY HELPFULL. THERE ARE FOUR CA EXAMS . CA 3 IS UNIT TEST WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY OWN COLLEGE. CA 4 IS CONDUCTED BY OUR UNIVERSITY.I THINK GETTING A GOOD MARKS IS NOT MUCH DIFFICULT.

Night Life

LIBRARY FACILITY IS AVAILABLE. THERE ARE SO MANY BOOKS IN OUR LIBRARY. GYM FACILITY IS ALSO AVAILABLE. BESIDES THERE IS CAFETERIA. OUR COLLEGE CANTEEN FOOD IS REALLY HYGIENIC. EVEN OUTSIDERS CAN EATE FOODS FROM OUR COLLEGE CANTEEN.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM,Amazon and many more visits the college and companies like TCS and Wipro take mass recruitment and companies like Amazon offers 2-3 job . Approximately 85 percent of the students gets placed . My plans after getting the degree is to get a Software Developer job

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.

I applied for some college in Noida like GL Bajaj and I was getting admission there but because of the distance from my state that is Jharkhand I preferred this college. Also I applied in colleges like Heritage Institute of technology and Techno Main Salt Lake and I was rejected because my wbjee rank was not enough to qualify . The admission process of this college is that we get admission here through exams like 'Wbjee' and 'Jee Mains' and then there is are counseling rounds held in which we have to to participate. Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college.
