Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not very hard, and it is also useful for future perspective. Teaching methods of the teachers are normal. Also, there are practical labs in our college and almost all the necessary equipments are there.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any internship opportunities we have to do internship on our own. projects are given in final year under the guidance of their branch faculties. college only provide NOC for doing the internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

we pay yearly a sum of total one lakh fees in our college. The per semester College fee is 30,000 and hostel and mess fee is 18,000. There are two types of scholarship in our college first one is NSP and the second one is merit scholarship.

Campus Life

There are two main fest held in this college, which are the cultural fest, Goonj and the sports fest, Josh. And also many other fest held in this college like technical fest, coding competitions, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are not in very good conditions. Three students are allotted in a single room for first three years and in final year, single room is allotted to a single student. the meal quality is average.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

I choose this college because of the the good academic studies and good placements. This college also has a pretty good ranking in Uttarakhand. The eligibility criteria for admission in this college is through JEE mains exam.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is pretty decent. 2 class test are held in every semester and one semester exams. The exams are not very tough nearly All the students passes the exam and the course is according to the Uttarakhand technical University curriculum.

Night Life

There is a open gym in the ground area of college. there are one central Canteen and three small canteens in the college. The opening and closing time of the hostel are 5 AM to 7 PM. the college is in a remote area surrounded by a village.

Placement Experience:

Oracle has been the biggest find of GEHU as before GEU, they hire students of our college. The reason is that we have given 20+ students to Oracle so far and they all have been doing well there. So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

Placement Experience:

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Infosys, Magics and many more like in all Including GEU & GEHU around 150 companies came. Not all the technology but even finance and construction companies as for Civil not many choices are there but luckily our core jobs were provided and I am happy it happened.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
