Course Curriculum Overview

3

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was the fees structure of this college. It is very low compared to other private and government colleges that offer the same course.

Internships Opportunities

3

There is a mandatory internship program that encourages students to take part in the program to learn about how they are learning from their classmates and superiors. The internship programs include projects.

Placement Experience

3

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Tata Cosultancy Service also known as TCS, Mahindra and Bharat Electronics Limited also known as BHEL regularly offer students at college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

18000 mess fees 32000 college fees This is the fees for general category. For all the other categories the fees is the same except for TFW category. For TFW category the hostel fees stays the same but the college tuition fees is 12000 rupees.

Campus Life

3

The range and access of books is huge as the library on campus is super huge. The college holds regular sports competitions which can be held among various courses or the teams of students' choice. There is a college fest also.

Hostel Facilities

3

A room is provided to three students. With a common washroom for all the students in one floor of the building. The bathroom and washrooms are combined and there are water heaters for the cold days at the college.

Admission

I applied to other private universities. University of petroleum and engineering. Dehradun institute of technology. But this one was the best one in terms of the fees structure. I was approved for admission in all the other colleges

Faculty

4

Most of the Faculty is supportive. Some of the are some of them are not. If they don't like you they will try their best and try to fail you in their subjects. So that earn more through the rechecking of copies that they get.

Interview Experience

3

There was a spot counselling held for the students. In this counseling the students of the college were shown around the college and were told about the all the facilities available for all the students.

Night Life

3

Some of the famous places inside the college for hangout points in college are snooker point, the central canteen and The Mehra restaurant. Night life is not very active. Because of the location wild animals roam around.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Oracle has been the biggest find of GEHU as before GEU, they hire students of our college. The reason is that we have given 20+ students to Oracle so far and they all have been doing well there. So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

Tula Institute has a policy where students have to have a severe training during the second year. Communication skills and all are very important for a engineering student and we are taught that in the training program. So finally comes the placements and around half the batch is seen getting placed every year from our college.
