Truth of government colleges

Course curriculum is according to Uttrakhand Technical University syllabus. The semester exams are held in the month of June and December. There are well managed practical Labs and mostly all the necessary equipments are there in the lab. The semester exam duration is of 3 hours and the class test duration is 1 hour .

College does not provide any internship opportunities but we have to do internship on our own. College only provide the NOC what doing the internship. In final year all the students do projects under the guidance of their branch faculties.

The ratio of college placement is decent and the average package of the colleges between 2.5 lacs to 3 lakh. Mostly placements are seen in the core branches like electrical, mechanical. The final year students from the seven semester are eligible for campus placement. After my degree I am going to apply for GATE exam and purse you my Mtech from a good college.

The yearly fees I paid is Rs 100000. And the tuition fees is 30000 semester wise and the hostel fees which I pay is 18000 and 2000 is maintenance fees paid by me per semester there is no compensation for st/sc category. There are two types of scholarships given to students first is NSP and another is merit scholarship 5000 rupees.

Students can join several societies and clubs which are form formed by the seniors. There are many societies in our college such as TSR, XS Band, etc. There are mainly to fest held in our college the cultural fest is Goonj and the sports fest is Josh.

In hostels there are rooms shared with Three Students in each room. Hostels are not very well maintained but the hostels are clean. The meal qualities average we get three meals in a day and one time snack. One water cooler is fitted in every hostel.

I choose this college for several reasons that a line perfectly with my academic, personal, and professional goals. Firstly the college offers are strong Academic reputation, particularly in my field of interest. Eligibility criteria for joining this college is through the JEE mains exam and the Biotech branch is given in the basis of 12th percentage.

Faculty to student ratio is also decent and all faculties are well educated. Faculties are very friendly and approachable. In every semester 2 class test are conducted each of 15 marks and and semester exams are of hundred marks. Exams are not very difficult and mostly all of the student passes the exam.

There is a open gym in the ground area of the college and there is one Central canteen and three small canteens in the college. There is a big library present in our college the opening time of the librariy 9:00 a.m. and the closing time is 4:00 p.m. college provides an ID card for issuing the books from the library. College is surrounded by village called ghurdauri.
