Course Curriculum Overview

As i already told that each branch has seprate building, and so many good teachers for each course. Placements arevery good around 10 lakh per annum average salary per student given. Exam structure is depends on student, in our college students union decide the routine of exam.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good. Average salary is around 10k per annum. And some of our departments have 100% placements like (printing engineering, CS,IT). But overall if we see 85 to 90 Percent students got placed. No our college doesn't provide internship.

College Events

Our semester starts on august. The following events are happen in our college. 1) ciippus:- its like freshers party or first year student fest. We organise sports, dance and quize in this event 2) U-turn:- this event is also freshers party. But in this students of all departments are united. And same as ciippus. 3) arena:- its a sports tournament among all the departments. 4) srijan:- This is also called tech-fest of our college. 5)Sanskriti:- this is cultural event of our college. Only dance and singing are organised. 6)romanthan:- its all about the farewell of 4th year students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very low around 2400 per year for all departments, except IT department (30k per semester). And this is very feasible in the veey high standard University with very low fee. And canteen cost is also low in comparison to outside of college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, in our college scholarship are provided to students. "Feeship" the name of scholarship, which os only for poor students, who can't afford the fee of college. For this scholarship in the month of February a interview organised by council for students to judge the financial status of student.

Campus Life

Labs are not very advanced technology used, but sufficient to do all new type experiments. As there are so many events organise in our college and in maximum event sports are also included. But there is no good sports stadium.

Alumni/Alumna

I think in this college seniors are more helpful than teachers. Because seniors are faced the situation which i have to face. And per year almuni meeting organised in our college to share the experience what are they doing now, and what i have to do etc.

Admission

Firstly, i gave the wbjee entrance exam which mostly held on last week of may. I got 3423 rank in wbjee. Firstly in counselling i got B. pharma, but after 2 weeks again decentralised counselling held and i changed my branch from B. Pharma to printing Engineering.

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Placement Experience:

Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

Like my main was getting to IIT which I couldn't as U couldn't clear JEE advanced.So my next option was to choose between NITS and JU.So clearly choose JU because it completes our BE in 10k whereas the fees of NITs are really high.So as I gave JEE in 2024 my jee main rank was something around 64K (95.5 percentile) and my wbjee rank was 2341 and got alloted food Technology and biochemical engineering in jadavpur university.The process to get into our college is to give wbjee and if u are a general your rank should be within 2500 to get into this premium college....Read More

Homebound Forward with Jadavpur University

I have always wanted to study in Jadavpur University in one of their literature departments since I was a kid. This was a way of achieving a tiny dream of mine. Moreover, the Comparative Literature Department is the best in all entire Asia and the first one in the country. I wanted to experience the greatness of this course and how the canons of this literature were formed here.
