What Students Say
Likes
- Very happening campus life and social life
- Amazing infrastructure every facility is available
- Faculty is pretty good here and even student clubs are very active
Dislikes
- Mess could be improved but obviously nothing can beat home food
- Hostels can be improved like the facilities of older blocks
- Some administrative things could be a little simpler and not that complicated
Course Curriculum Overview
Pretty relevant course and interactive course Has a lot of interesting parts as it is also based on real life applications Course has both theory related subjects and practical subjects including labs and workshops
Internships Opportunities
Internship oppurtunies are ample varying from coding to electronics Stipend obviously varies from company to company but u can even earn 1lpa sometimes U will get updates about internships on forums and groups

By 7th semester you can be eligible to sit for placements and eligibility criteria varies from 6cgpa to 8cgpa 300 companies came from Amazon to Nividia Highest around 70lpa and Average around 7.5-8lpa 90% placed
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise tuition fees that I had to pay is 431000 For each branch it varies , i was in EEE so that was my fee Obviously scholarships are available as per rank of the student and even merit cum need is available
Campus Life
One cultural fest around Feb and one tech fest around Oct Very happening college life Every journal and book that u require will most probably be available in the library Facilities are well developed Extracurriculars are amazing because the student clubs are very active Clubs from cultural to technical exist here
Hostel Facilities
Pretty good hostel facilities as per the fees Meal is nice only like menu has a lot of variety in it For first year hostel allotment is pretty easy By second year it depends on cgpa but still not that hard
Admission
Chose this college because it has a small batch size making it easier to concentrate and study and also making placements easier as it is not that crowded. Other colleges have huge batch sizes which impact placement ratio as usually people get mass recruited. Admission process is through MET exam which is a PCME exam and ranks are given based on that and u can choose a branch based on rank
Faculty
Faculty to student is pretty good Every student has a teacher guardian making it easier for the student to settle in Faculties are well qualified Two exams- midsems and endsems Pretty doable exams and all material is provided for sufficient preparation
Interview Experience
No , only a test was given for the admission It is a PCME test based on 11+12 syllabus It's similar to JEE but obviously easier and JEE oriented resources can be used to prepare for it and even boards material can be used
Night Life
Everything closes by 11:30 pm at night For first year hostel in time is 10:30pm and after that it's 11:30pm Campus intime for first year is 10:00pm and after that it's 11:00pm Great night life and safe locality to roam around People hangout in student plaza or different places in campus
Other Applied Colleges
Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Because of lack of placements and huge class size
