Course Curriculum Overview

4

The whole reason i chose this course was because this was a combination of two core streams which extended into robotics which is kinda exciting (and apparently kinda hard which i didnt know). The curriculum does prepare for real world applications like for eg we have a subject for EG Engineering graphics which teaches us small things about mechanical engineering

Internships Opportunities

4

Not very sure about the internship opportunities but i have heard that these interships do give a lot of experience and the hands on experience of the life of a person working in that particular sector.

Placement Experience

4

From what i have heard the min CGPA required for campus placements is 7 and the Average package was around 10.49 LPA the highest however was 51LPA. The number of recruiters were around 200+ , the companies that visited are Accenture, Wells Fargo, TCS, Deloitte, Amazon, Microsoft, Google and many other companies. The placement rate was around 72% to 73%. My plan after getting my degree is to continue with my job in Australia for around 2 to 3 years and pursue my career in aviation i.e. become a pilot

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees for this couse is 414000, where the caution deposit is 10k, after this there is no payment to be done for any facillities in the campus other than cafeteria and also the mess and hostel are charged together and separately. We first were supposed to pay 10k as caution deposit then after around 9 days paid 2.4lakh and after 10 days around 1.64 lakh.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is considered the best for a college to be good. The college life in mit is pretty good, the number of people, the quality interactions and good friends are found in large numbers, and so many places to hangout inside campus is the best for eg the Student plaza or SP as we call it is the best place to hangout and meet new people everyday. The books in the library cater to all the requirements for a student in academic as well as research purposes.

Admission

Actually the main reason i chose mit was because i wanted aeronautical engineering and i had heard it was a very good college for aeronautica; engineering but then this time the cutoff for aero was very low and my rank was slightly higher hence i didnt get aero but i got an oppotunity to go to australia after 2 years. I am in a dual degree course where i will be studying 2 years in india and 2 years in australia

Faculty

3

The student-faculty relations are nice cuz we have a system called student mentor where every student has a mentor and the mentor meets with him and asks him how his studies, and life in general is going on around 6 times per semester so its a pretty good number. Again in every college there are very good, ok and teachers who dont care and i wouldnt reveal their names but i would like to say that in 1st year the 1st sem chemistry, evs, bet teachers were the best yet.

Night Life

5

The favorite places to hangout is the student plaza or the sp in short, there's a garden near the temple which is beautiful, late night walks on the roads of the campus itself from MIT to DOC, or MIT to Architechture building, FC1 (foodcourt 1), FC2, the group study hall in library for group assignments or presentation. The hostel timings for girls and boys of 1st year is 10:30 and the gate timing is 10 pm after that the students are not allowed into the hostels without giving fine of 100 rupees or inside campus repectively.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ????
