Course Curriculum Overview

5

I was intrested in coding and AI, so I chose the course. Also, there are multiple opportunities in this field. the course is structured in very comprehensive manner, it is designed to make it easy for students to learn things. The curriculum is very relevant as it depends on the latest technologies used in the industry. The teaching method of all the faculties is mainly practical based learning and they try to teach on basis of real world examples. The exam happes twice a semester as mid sem exams and end sem exams. the level of exam is tough.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees of our institute is approximately 3,00,000 rupees. The tuition fees is 2,00,000 rupees. There are some other fees like registration or admission fees of 5000 rupees, hostel fees of 30000 rupees, mess fees of 25000 rupees. The caution money of 3000 rupees. There are some other miscellaneous fees of 5000 rupees including library fee, exam fee etc. There are different scholarships for the students, these scholarships are based on merit basis and also on the total income of the family. They also provide financial aid to the students.

Campus Life

5

IIT KGP has a dynamic campus life. There are multiple annual and tech fest organized for the students. The major fest are Spring fest, Kshitij, Illumination and many more. The institute also celebrates different festivals wih the students. All the students make endless memories here and enjoy their campus life. there are different clubs and societies for the overall development of the students. The library has wide range of books, journals, research papers that can be accessed by the students. The sports championships also take place for the students.

Admission

The reason to choose this institue was due to its academic excellence and faculties. the infrastructure and the course curriculum was also as per my requirements. The campus life and the tuition fees was also aligned to my expectations. The alumni network is also very strong and the placement records are also great here. A student need to crack JEE Advance to get admission here. Admission process begins after clearing the JEE exam then students have to participate in the counselling and there the college is allocated to the students.

Faculty

5

The major reason for the success of the this institute is due to it's faculties. All the faculties are very highly educated and have great knowledge of the subjects. all the teachers are industry experts and experienced. The student to faculty ratio is 1:15. The faculties are generally approachable during office hours. the faculties help students in research and industry-oriented projects. The teaching style is more practical based.

Night Life

4

The nightlife here is a unique mix of different activities. There are students jamming in the gardens. The students paly different sports here. The gym and cafeterias are open till 9 pm in the evening. The nightlife is peace giving as it is not too hectic and noisy life metro cities. Hostel timing for boys is 11 pm, they have eto enter their hostels before that. Famous hangout spots are Nalanda Complex, Tikka and Vegies point, Stadium and many more. the students rome in the evening and chill with their friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-> CSE is the main stream because under this, other courses like Cybersecurity can be learned as extra courses, while still learning things that are very important like DSA and DAA. -> Everything is taught slightly fast and students have to keep up everyday. Even one class missed will be heavy on studying. -> The mic quality in some classes are bad and should be improved. It's impossible to understand what the teachers says when using them. -> Usually term exams start one month after the start of a semester, with the Semester exam being held 3 months later.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was relevant for beginners and covered important computer subjects like programming basics, DBMS, networking, and computer fundamentals. It helped in understanding the foundation of IT and software. However, the curriculum needs more practical sessions, coding practice, live projects and industry level skills. Exams were conducted semester wise with internal assessment, and the difficulty level was moderate. Overall the curriculum is good for basics, but it should be updated with more modern topics and practical learning.
