Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I have a lot of interest in political debates and to study different ideologies. Teachers teach us all the syllabus in very deep but the time period of semester is very short which is one hindrance in knowledge gaining. This subject will help me in my UPSC preparation. I want to suggest that university should increase the time period of semester.

Internships Opportunities

2

There are many interships which are provided by college and many other provided by the university but no one student of my class is involved in any type of internship and even my friends of other streams as well not part of any internship but still our college have internships but the name is unknown to me

Placement Experience

3

We have not placement opportunities in our subject as it is non science course, but in our college you have a lot of opportunities in other courses for placement. Most of the students of our course go for a PhD or for a preparation of upsc and other competition examinations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly I paid Rs 250 as a registration fees for Delhi university then after the seat alloted to me, to lock the seat I paid Rs 19875 on the csas portal of Delhi university then now as a exam fees I paid 1310 for a semester exam. Various types of scholarship provided to the students of different quotas but I have not much knowledge about that.

Campus Life

4

As a annual festival we have NAXUS, a biggest fest in south campus which held in March. Every college students can access any book of library with the help of their college id card. The infrastructure of our college is good and all classes are loaded with projectors. Almost all types of sports are present in our college,we have biggest ground in south campus. We have two clubs in our college one is happy club and other is ignite club.

Admission

I also applied for Hindu college of North campus over the Sri Venkateswara College but as my CUET score was not enough to meet the cut off of Hindu college so I got Sri Venkateswara College for my course. To get addmission in delhi university firstly you have to pass in 12th exam from any board and then you have to give CUET exam and meet the cut off of the college for your subject.

Faculty

5

We have good ratio of teachers in our department or even in our college which is about 1:15. Our college also provide mentor to the students even for their personal help. I like most to the Amit sir , who teaches us constitutional values and fundamental duties. In one year of cycle we have two semester exam in our college and also two mid semester test. The level of exam is moderate and mostly students easily pass the exam.

Night Life

3

On the opposite side of our college we have a Satya niketan, where most of students of our college live and there is also a lot of fun activities such as a very big park in satya and lot of games shop available in it. But most of students use to sleep after college and at night they go outside for fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

I specifically chose Economics and history to study because I had an interest in both. Economics is pretty self explanatory, learning about how the world economy works is interesting. History on the other hand is interesting because you get to know how civilization and society developed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

German course has high demands and in germany there are relevant chances that I can get good paying jobs,I would say that the teachers are really nice, if you study well they will help you alot and are really appreciable, I would say there are none to improve because it's kinda easy to study the subject on your own, the difficulty of exams are what it should be like, it's good it's great, to make you a better person and student, and the time duration they give is enough to solve each and every exams
