Nit Agartala provides a decent foundation, but it's relevance to current industry trends needs improvement. By integrating modern topics, emphasizing practical skills and adopting innovative teaching methods and its real-world applications

Internships Opportunities

Some companies offered paid and some companies offered unpaid.. Companies like Accenture, oracle, cisco, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft,allowed all branches for software roles (with stipend) Other companies ONGC, PWD, ICICI Bank (unpaid)

Placement Experience

Students participating in placement are around 800 and 680+ getting placed. Companies like tata motors, l&t, Bharat petroleum, Capgemini, oracle, and Google. Students are eligible for campus placement starting in 3rd year only. Students with higher cgpa and strong skills especially in branches like CSE, ECE and EE tend to secure better placement

Fees and Financial Aid

B.Tech Fee structure 1st year:-Rs 1,25,000(tuition fee), 7500(admission fee), 1000(registration fee) 2nd year :-Rs 12500(tuition fee),nil(admission fee), 1000(registration fee) 3rd y and 4th y generally remain same as 2nd year Scholarship details:- 1.merit-based scholarships(central sector scholarship for top class education: full reimbursement of tuition fee for Sc/st students) 2. Need-based scholarships (for ews students with family income below 250000) 3 .state-specific scholarships

Campus Life

Major annual events are Moksha (cultural fest)and Aayam(technical fest) Clubs DCC (developer and coding club), dedicated to coding, dand evelopment. Encourage to participate in hackathons and tech companies ,pixels clubs (photography), anime club

Admission

Admission is based on the JEE mains rank which determines seat allocation through the JoSAA.. For home state students closing rank is 53k for general category in cse,96k in ECE, 1lakh in EE , 217k in civil , 173k I in mech

Faculty

Faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:15 to 1:20 Most faculty members are approachable and willing to help students. Sometimes might feel that certain faculty members focus heavily on theoretical knowledge without adequate practical application

Night Life

Reporting time for girls is generally around 6:30pm and for boys around 9pm Hangouts places:- kp(knowledge park), coconut garden,food court , Rahul canteen, library Library opens at 9 am and close at around 9pm

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Ex: Samsung, Microsoft, phonepe, LNT, Bhel, TCS , Infosys, Tata motors, Reliance, Google , linkedin etc. The highest package in the campus is 65-LPA offered by linkedin. Average package is around 8-LPA and the median package is 6.5-LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.
